As reported in the 'tiser today Ben Hart has officially signed for the Roosters.
He will also take on some assistant coaching duties. A big boost to North's defence with his experience and poise.

Can anyone fill me in on the Ins/Outs for Glenelg, rumor has it that a couple of the Vic players may be returning home?

BQ, a good source of Bays info is: http://www.snoutslouts.org/forum/index.php

Here's some info on new recruits and re-signings that the club recently sent out.

No relation. From Tassie originally, he is 22 i think now, and has won the Eagles B and F three years running. I taught/coached him, great young bloke as well as a great little player. Was talking to some of his friends who said that he is being rather well looked after.

A great fella and footballer, who has probably missed his chance at the big time due to his lack of cm's. But what he lacks in height he makes up for tenfold in speed, skills, courage and character. Wish him all the best at Sturt and will always be welcome back at "OC" park :thumbsu: :thumbsu:

Can anyone fill me in on what type of player Ryan Potter is from WWT.

As a footballer he's as hard as you get. Injury prone in recent years but whenever he was fit he was in the first 18 at the eagles. Predominantly a half-back flanker but can do a job on the ball as well.

After being part of the eagles premiership this season he has retired from the sanfl to focus on his professional career. A shame yes, but with injuries and the limited salary in the sanfl it's understandable. Apparantly he is now working (or soon to be at least) in country Victoria, Traralgon I think. Hope that helps.

Do you mind me asking why your interested? It's just that he's not the sort of player that people ask about much. Top bloke too!

He is moving into our area and there has been a bit of interest in his services. Just wanted the inside word I suppose.

The Magpies have recruited ex Kangaroos defender Joel Perry, whilst Harry Miller has returned the club and Tim Looby has decided to come back and play again as well.

We have also recruited a 19 year old ruck from Whyalla called Daniel Stringer.

Nor do Zillmere but they have a great way of getting players to play for the club and their teammates. Always around the mark come finals time.
