The season goes for longer than 5 weeks, which is a concept Essendon fans have struggled to grasp the last two seasons.

Patches alone very rarely win games.

Their patches aren't just one offs in the game though, they played better than Essendon IMO for at least half of each quarter and then those ridiculous momentum shifting goals in the third.
