I'm unsure when they're training. So game on Monday.. so Saturday? I should be able to go given lockdown ends before then.
Surely they'll have another session before then, maybe thursday

Main session - Round 13, 2021.

Bucks' last main session .... bit bittersweet.

But it went along smoothly, no fuss. I imagine come Monday it will be a bit more emotional. Though Bucks did get hugs from a couple players. Ruscoe and Wilson.

Bit of drills. Bit if match play. Then half way through, bunch of players went indoors, and we were left with the squad that was announced on Thursday.


Adams, Howe, Begg and Reef were doing running sessions. Adams then participated in some later drills. He looked pretty good. Minus the strapping around his knee.
McMahon also did some running in the later part of the session.

Greenwood also participated in drills.

Grundy had the no contact vest on but he did a bunch of stuff as well. Looks fine.

The new draftees looked good. Begg did running, but he is bigger than you think, and quite tall. A couple pre-seasons will do nicely.
Ash... quite filled out, very mature. I expect him to play within weeks.

Seems to be a few similarities between Begg and McMahon. Same height, both take the ball at the highest point, young and athletic. Both missed footy last year so are behind equally. McMahon getting some VFL exposure this year but Begg injured. Hopefully they both find a spot long term in our side and become very good players. Who would you have your money on?

Probably McMahon at the Moment.

Though I seen lot more of McMahon then Minute Highlight of Begg. McMahon went Pick 31 in National Draft and Begg was Pick 18 in Mid Season Draft.

Neither are Gurantees to Make it at this Moment

I like him, and think he has value, but he won't be part of our next push, and would trim $550k from our payroll.

He'd no longer be carrying a big contract. I can see someone else listing him, but I can't see us getting anything of value back in trade.

Looked pretty good. I wouldn't think his fitness should be an issue given he had been training and playing with the sanfl coming in. If the selection went that way, I don't see why he wouldn't be ready.
