David King wants to get his pounding done early so he can piss off to fox footy.

So much for "David King getting his pounding done early" because Carey were a much better side on the day but they just choked, they had it in the bag, and they choked...

Bad sides choke.

such an educated call. kicking with the wind in the last should not of lost that. losing Clavin early and looks as though Lachal could be season, gutsy win from Xavier

Shocking news about superstar lachal, heard today its a bad injury. Xavs are experts at coming from behind, but its starting to get annoying, Richards and Breust were 2 very big losses, but will return for Hailebury game.
Xavs stay in the hunt, but from all accounts Carey showed a bit, bad luck to them.
The big man Chris prowse got the job done again for the xavs, has had the month of his life, Bog in 3 of 4 games. Vital player, good hands, a true testiment to the Xavs Fighting spirit! Good work xavas. Di stefano likely to play next week after a stunning 6 in the 2s, N.Sharkey also in the hunt, can play and is dangerous.

Prowse was no where near BOG today, kicked the winning goal and did some okay ruck work early, but thats about it...

i heard there were a couple questionable goal umpiring decisions in the carey vs xavier game, some said they could've decided the result as the momentum had stopped

Haileybury boys getting up by 8 to Wesley. Seccull, Blakey, Di Natale and Howes best for the Bloods. Haileybury is rising look out for the next few games

anyone catch the skevs-brighton game?

SKC were the better team all day, had another 10 odd scoring shots. Take those two large Brighton units from their fwd line and the Brighton side becomes VERY ORDINARY.

The Snake Pitt's muddy center awaits the giant clash that will grace it's oval on June 18.

Got the chance to witness all three game at st.kevins today (10As, 2nds and 1sts). Firsts were far too good for the inexperienced brighton outfit ( i think they had something like 8 yr 10s playing from memory?). It was one up forward for stkevins with their chf (not sure on name) and their foward pocket both booting hauls of 5.

the class of salopek and purcell ( he must be spewing he took last year off from footy becuase he would be a monty for draft selection, not saying he still doesn't have a chance though) was what really stood out for me. Brighton will be good in the next one or two year though with the likes of salem and hayes maturing.

P.s saw one a great yr 10 performances today from the stkevins full foward (team mates were calling him gabbo?) who must of taken close to 15 marks and kicked 5.5 or so. shame he didnt have his kicking boots on.

Wrong. I'm not sure about the games played by each team, but Scotch have now lost twice? So it should be Skevs on top, with Caufield and Xavier equal second.

nah he still played school footy but took the year off from oakleigh chargers basically ruining his chances of get a vic metro call up

PLaying vic doesn't necessarily mean you'll get drafted (have a look at Conway).
He'll blitz the sprint records for draft camp if he gets a call up. I'm pretty sure he's already got the unofficial record after his trials at oakleigh.

but conways a shit bloke
Conway is a shit footballer and a worse bloke, Pat tiernan(XC) kicked more goals than him last year...Tiernan is a gun.
Could not be more excited for the Xavier Vs Skevs game saturday week...will be an absolute cracker...Di Stefano better get a game and Im hoping Nick Sharkey gets a call up after kicking 12 in the 2s on saturday! The kid knows how to play.
