Golds has told the school he is not going to play firsts.
No year 10's will.
End of season ladder:
Xavier
MGS
Geelong
Scotch Halerbury
Carey
Caulfield
Skevs
Wesley
Grammar has an amazing list as soon as they start working together they will give xavier some competition. Xavier is again going ot be the benchmark with the likes of Di Stefano, Golds, Keith, Plant, Pirrie, and Xavier Richards(will be a force this year) are going to be hard to beath the depth is the strongest weve seen in a while and are Xaviers next realisic chacne of winning a 1st XVII premiership.

you have got to be joking. pretty piss poor effort
skevs beat all those mobs last year except xavs
melbourne grammar have never been that good probably should be 4th or 5th
cant see geelong doing well either with all their key players in the firsts

kidding yourself
xavs beat us by 6 goals if that

Please xavier has an all star line up filling the team with tall strong and tough players. When coming up against a mid field of kieth di stefano collopy and pirrie it is hard to see any team coming close let alot have the best full forward in the aps year 10pat tiernan and centre half golds the backline is not so strong it is hard to see this team get beaten if hungry.

i rate that lader.. caulfield = rubbish skevs probably over them

and how r haileybury looking this year... any scholarships??

xavier are good but remember carey beat them last year so dont know what that is saying

Carey was the second best team last year. They were the only team that can say that they beat xavier. Hailurbury and Scotch beat them but they only beat them because xavier played terrible football. Saying that all three games Xavier lost Golds didnt play. Hailurbury Keith Golds and Distefano didnt play. But this year with Tom Mitchel gone there best player and most of there good players playing in the 1s they wont be as dominant. But come year 12 they will be a team not to be taken lightly.

mate yove got to be kidding yourself
carey won maybe 3 games? they would be lucky to be in top 6

are u talking about yr9 A. i dont think u r. cause u clearly were shit house and ur the kind of team that would play the likes of mgs and xav for a praccy match..

hahah ill give all u guys a tip...respect college ;)
our depth of year 10s is incredible the likes of wade, curnow, pickett, williams, ratcliffe, carr and many more all have the ability to play afl in years to come not all will play firsts because of the depth our year 11s also have so i spose this is a warning to all other aps schools because college is looking the goods

this is very true. Carey had a faboulous year and where looking to have extremely good potential in years to come. Although the few big losses of T.Mitchell and A.Richardson, there is still good depth coming in through second teir players.
Carey did beat Hailebury actually, but infact did get run over by caulfield. The loss to scotch was an unlucky one, 6 of the top players out on a England Cricket tour, and with a lead with jsut a few minutes to go. Scotch also kicked a goal after the siren to make it look like a slightly more convincing win.

mate r u serious!!
carey lost 3 games to skevs by 11 points
scotch by 8 points
Hailebury by like 10
the rest of the games carey won
very debatable what u said

too true .. scotch definately should have beaten aswell we got stinged inthe last quarter and had 6 of our best playas out.. scotch = nothing special no depth.... and mate carey smashed haileybury last year... and skevs was a very unlucky loss carey should have steam rolled them

yeah and those players that were in england werent as good as the players that you used to replace from the year below with the likes of jack viney and lee andriakis who were pretty much the 2 best on ground that day

buddy, is this a joke?
Skevs have 4 state players, a number of TAC, and are still predicted to be this low. m8, skevs are top 2 at least, but likely to take 1st.
And for those douches who think skevs were crap last yr, they were top 4/3.

hal-plays 1sts
purcell-doesnt play footy for school
and purcell is notttt in top 2 players

What are we talking about here ?
Are we talking *only* about players who are not good enough to play firsts ?

If we are talking about the best Year 10 players in the APS, Hal Hunter and Seb Purcell are in a class of their own.
Who else is near that level ?
Golds, possibly.

.

bullshit mate,
with alex richardson, marcus cushen, jacob murphy, harry pepperel and others there is no comparison,
also jack viney is a star we know that but others such as jack mcrae who played 4 minutes of that game because of his lack oh intensity and jason ashyby who didnt do much is very arguable. lee andrianakis was ok but not one of the best on the ground

will walker teh mansfield boy tore it up preseason has a massiv engine is going to put a good case to b selected in the 1st this will further deplete the carey team. Ander martin looks like he's ready 4 the number 1 ruk spot nad pat cremean may have 2 move up the ground 2 fill teh CHF spot.

MGS>Xavier>Scotch>skevs>carey>hailebery>Caul>wesley

nd btw is RAVARMA ritesh varma from MGS?

Yeah mate thats me....who r u ??
Bruno??

i dont even know how this is even a debate
geelong college have won the last few years and we have gone out and done some recruiting again

whether our guns play firsts or not (of which i dunno who will yet) college have the best list

also u guys keep forgetting one of the biggest cliches in the book...a champion team always beats a team of champions so name dropping isnt serving much purpose

xavs will win and golds will dominate.. that being said.. if golds plays 1s which in my eyes he will.. then the duty of domination lies in the hands of keith or distefino or plant and any other of the 22 that run out for the red and black.. all other teams are competing for second spot.

mate end of season ladder geelong college finished top
we only lost two games when xavier lost three
melbourne grammar will not be good in the last game we beat them by 50 points. Even with some new scholarships. Melbourne schools will stay stronger with not as many players going into firsts as some of the smaller schools such as us.

'thestewiedews' needs to stop saying debatable its pissing the shit out of me
Carey are looking pretty good at this stage ill tell you that much
MGS, Skevs, Xav, Geelong, Hailerbury, Wesley and scotch can suck my balls
