Your club is lucky to be around and will be extinct in 10 years and a distant memory yet you are asking if the 2 most succesfull clubs the league has are irrelevant, it just does not make sense but then again i am not totally surprised given your supported club and i can imagine how you think losing Pre Lims every year is being relevant in todays game.... so go rattle some tins and start a "Support The Bulldogs" money drive before it is to late.

I honestly think there should be a minnow sub-board or something so these Faildogs, St Kilda and Freo supporters etc can duke it out amongst themselves, they don't deserve to be here bagging the bigger more successful clubs

Carlton are a shadow of their former self. The cheating, debt and scandals have made them far from relevant. I doubt they will ever be anywhere near relevant or significant again.

Essendon, on the other hand, are just having some lean years. They have huge support and are indeed relevant. They are slowly working their way back to the top.
