Are Essendon & Carlton still relevant?

How true is that! Common knowledge both clubs cheated their way to their most recent flags and continue to rort the system to this day. refer Judd and that joke of a Visy deal. Essendon are on the way down. A few more years of misery on the field and supporters will abandon them in droves. Can't see Essendon shaking the top 12 with that rabble of a list. Oh hang on....park Jay Neagle at FF and all their problems will be solved.
both are still relevant though as they will continue to be the butt of many a joke for years to come.
I know what the Blues are cooking......FAILURE

:D:D:D:D:D

Is that what happened to the Roos?

It's actually quite hilarious that in our worst ever decade we still won more silverware than the the Dogs and North combined.

Essendon won a flag 10 years ago with just about the most dominant team ever.

Thanks for the laughs. :thumbsu:

Essendon haven't cheated to a flag since 2000. Haven't won a final in 8 years.
Carlton haven't cheated to a flag since 1995. Haven't won a final in 11 years.

They just provide the LOL's these days.

I must say most of us Catters haven't enjoyed the latest material from Bomberland quite as much as earlier releases.

they're both still relevant to pies fans

we're only 1 flag behind both now

"they know we're coming"

unfortunately for carl and ess, and unlike carl's m/ship campaign of the same name, we mean it

For the deniers among us, let me repeat *sigh*

Carlton & Essendon are still relevant to the Fraud Squad.

You know how it is...and always has been.

Even if the only people interested in either club were from the fraud squad, that still leaves us with much more interest than anyone has in the Bulldogs.

What happens the next time this scum bag of a club runs out of money yet again ? Do they roll irene "gums" chatfield out again ? Stand on your own two feet footscray stop scabbing off the power clubs.

We will never run out of money again we are a powerhouse club these days. :)

When was your last premiership again?

You'll have to excuse my ignorance I have only read the top and tail of this thread. Can you explain how the Bulldogs are a powerhouse club?

Membership/Supporter Base?
Financial situation?
On Field results?

Powerhouse in my opinion would mean at least top 4 in the AFL in 2 out of 3 of the above categories. Unless you have a better way of defining powerhouse then I am at a loss to see how the Bulldogs can be described as a powerhouse club.

See post about NAB Cup Victory this year, we also feel like were becoming a massive club these days as for the Victorian clubs it goes:

OFFICIAL VICTORIAN RELEVANCY LIST:

Collyflog
Geebong
Western Bulldogs
St. Shittle
Shitmond
Melgorne
Essenscum
********
Norf

Good to see we're above Norf in the relevancy stakes. Suck on that you Norf princesses.
