Are there any vegetarian or vegan footballers?

I'm sure there is, but i don't care. I have no problem with veganism. It's great for you and yours. Why would I ever give a stuff what another human eats, so long as it's not me?

We can't keep continuing to claim what a smart species we are if our practises change the planet to such a degree that it leaves our genetic lines (our offspring) with a much more uncertain or even bleak future.

Anyone can say, ahh **** it, i'll be dead so who cares? That kind of thinking will put the longevity of the species well behind basic creatures like ants, cockroaches and rodents.

What people eat is of no concern to me. Plants are what keep us animals alive, yet people eat plants. Tonight I made a burger and I had some plants...I'm full!

Old bump, but these burgers are some of the best replacement meat products I've ever had. Pretty much my go to for a Friday Night fry up last year.

They don't taste at all like hamburgers, but they're also completely distinct from other vegetarian burgers which usually taste super bland. Think there's a decent amount of cheese in them IIRC.

Are they still running the Rebel Whoppers? Those were pretty tasty too.
When Paul McCartney broke Linda's death to their kids he said "Bad news is your mother's dead, good news is we can all go to KFC now".

Beyond Meat burgers are a bit exxy but they're being stocked by Coles Local (the "fancy" Coles) and some Woolworths too. There's some other brand I had recently that was a bit too real for me. Feels like the last 18 months the quality of fake meats has grown massively. I reckon Linda's is behind the pack now.

A better question is do any of them live solely off of zinger boxes?

Anyone made a Jake Stringer joke yet?

Any footballers who've done the opposite and eat nothing but meat? I know Tom Mcdonald did in 2021 for a time but he was still having coffee and random spices and stuff on his meat and would cramp up after 3 quarter time.
I did myself for about 6 weeks strict and it took decades off aching joints and energy levels(though I think I have some nutrient absorption issues that made it work better for me than it would most people).

3 year bump to say "hey, what about the opposite of the thread topic?" love it

Meat only diets are absolutely never going to be supported by club dieticians/nutritionists.

That Jordan Peterson nonsense has been thoroughly, THOROUGHLY debunked.

Bro dont you listen to Joe Rogan bro? Carnivore diet and massive amounts of testosterone injections are the only way men can live past 40 without turning into a soyboy bro

lol gut flora. I hadn't had a solid dump in over 2 decades before I did the meat diet. As for nearly dying from sipping cider it sounds like you're making stuff up.

Sounds like you have IBS and we're majorly intolerant to something.

It's not the meat that fixed your issue, its removing whatever your gut had a problem with from your diet.

Eating nothing but meat has its own issues.

It's insanity.
Dead corpse sitting in your gut putrefying.
Does wonders for your bowel, cholesterol, kidneys, and gut microbiome. Not.

yeah I'm intolerant to dairy and wheat at least. Eating only meat is fine none of the plant foods humans can eat existed before agriculture was invented(like wheat). There's no plants that just naturally exist in nature that humans could eat that had any meaningful calories(except some fruit if you happen to live near the tropics).
