North have played 19 games there since 2000. Finally dodged a bullet this year.
Thats a Miracle worth Celebrating! lol

Never forget that game Geelong won there 9.15.69. to 1.8.14. Glad Todd Goldstein kicked that set shot goal in the 2nd quarter.

Still shocked North Melbourne kicked only one goal that night. Had it been 4.5.29 or 3.6.24 or even 2.7.19. you would say fair enough, we got beaten but at least kicked a couple of goals for the AFL highlights videos on youtube. lol

I've only read through the last couple of pages but the many anomalies that posters have highlighted just show what a farce this competition really is.

Some clubs get favourable draws with better TV games whilst others get shunted to the nether regions and are clearly disadvantaged.

The only thing left is for the AFL to hire Vince McMahon to work out wins and when and the job will be complete.
Do the AFL still compensate teams that gets shafted with the fixture/stadium deals? I remember they released something about 2011-2016 compensation (Competitive Balance Fund?) but don't recall if they have updated that.

Hawks playing every team once before the double ups, is every team like this?
Ah the good old days when it was simple and less complicated in that 16 team and 22 game era from 1997 to 2010.

1st 7 opponent's you have them they were your double up games. Then get them again in the last 7 games in the season.

everything is fine with the fixture says Dil, with his fingers in his ears.
Of course he thinks it's fine, AFL execs measure success on media rights dollars and ratings, the fairness of the competition doesn't even factor in.
