He was but the Tassie FS thing

There actually is no "FS Thing as yet" for the Tassie Team.

What you are referring to was a speculation piece in The Age.

gives access to kids of Tassie names regardless of how many games over 100 their parents played for an existing AFL side.

Again no such ruling has as yet been made.

For example.

Grant Birchall played close to 250 games for the Hawks.
Grant Birchall was drafted from Tasmania , as well as having been born there.

Tony74 on Saintsational said that Ari has lost 7 kgs in the last couple of months and is looking to improve his speed. The club want him to take Bonner’s place in the team. Sounds like a good plan. We have to find a way to get him into the team, that left boot is lethal.
That would be fantastic - A grade left shoe but is a one paced plodder and weak defensively.

If he can get some speed (hopefully a sprint coach is part of the deal) and work with Boris on his defensive craft he could be a weapon!

He doesn’t need to become a speedster with his shoe, but if he can improve it a little it would be handy. His defensive game is more important to improve I reckon. He did ok with the help of Batlle and Wilkie earlier this year but would get exposed by a lot of forwards 1 on 1 at this point you’d think.
