A two pronged thread here.
Firstly, where's Steven Armstrongs career at? I was lookin forward to seeing him really progress and have a "breakout" year this year alongside Thommo but it really seems to have stalled. I guess I kinda hoped to see their careers take off together like Green n Bruce. Whats happened to Arma, does anyone know? Has he suffered injury or just out of favour with Daniher? I expected to see him come in when all our small forwards went down but Sylvia seems to be the man and even Williams got the nod ahead of him. Bad signs methinks.
My second question is regarding mainly Jolly more than Jamar. I know there are a few people around here who don't like Jols much but I reckon he still has a fair bit to offer. Unfortunately injury hasn't been kind to him this year and has suffered an horrendous lack of opportunity when selected. I think he got 15 mins last week and not too many players have much impact in that sort of time. Will he be surpassed in favouratism by Jamar? Both are similar style ruckmen in terms of they are grunt ruckmen, not Jeff White high flyers and are aggressive (an area Jolly is improving in). Is there room for both on our list or will one request a Simmonds type trade.
Catch ya.
