Really?.....I’m the polar opposite to that in that I don’t have much of a dislike at all for the Pies, whereas the Hawks are & always will be public enemy number#1.....On the topic, I simply barrack for the underdog every year ( unless that’s Hawthorn).

I would be happy if Collingwood never won another game of football for the rest of my life. But we all have different opinions :)

Was nice seeing Tippett play in those losing GF's. Got exactly what he deserved. For me, no big deal if Dangerfield or Cameron win premierships.

The only one I've cared about this century was 2018 because it was on my gravely-ill Eagles fan neighbour's 97th birthday and I wanted them to win so his family could enjoy it with him.

1998 Adelaide (North seemed too confident that year - and by comparison Adelaide seemed humble (I imagine that wasn't the case in SA) I had enjoyed Adelaide's previous GF win and their stars: Jarman/McLeod)

2001 Essendon (because I watched it with my Mum who was supporting Ess)
2002 Brisbane (i kind of like Bucks now, but back then I liked irony that he would lose a GF to the club that he had left after 1 season because he wanted to play for a big successful Melbourne based club)
2003 Brisbane (same as previous year - crush Collingwood and ruin Buckley's dream and kill off the farce that was the previous year's Norm Smith)
2004 Port Adelaide (talked up my Port tip to a few workmates during the lead up and wanted to be Monday's expert)

2011 Geelong (too much sentiment for Mick's supposed coaching farewell - Geelong earned my admiration by winning a lot of close ones that year)
2012 Sydney (Goodes, Bolton - great fellas - easy to barrack for)

2014 Sydney (just a good consistent team that I seemed to dislike a lot less than the others)

2016 Sydney (again, though there's no such thing 2nd team to barrack for - it was to be the last year I had this weak sentiment for the Swans)
2017 - (really didn't want to go for either team - against general expectations I had picked Richmond to play finals that year, but by the time they started winning them, I knew it had gone too far, but couldn't bring myself to go for Adelaide either - with one of our own annoying supporters on our Freo BF pages giving constant detailed comparisons of how Adelaide's drafting and trading had been far superior to Fremantles over the decade - where are you now, you clown!)

1997 - just didn’t want to be home with a St.Kilda supporting father and an Adelaide crows supporting mother. Just wanted the pain and misery to end.
1998 - Adelaide (Was sick and tired of the commentators mentioning Wayne Carey every 3 seconds)
1999 - North Melbourne ( Carlton hatred still strong)
2000 - Essendon (Knew they were too good for Melbourne)

2020 - Brisbane. Port stuffed up last night by not getting rid of Richmond. So Brisbane for most neutral supporters your our only hope to end the misery of Geelong and Richmond. Just saying no pressure
