For $120m, I think Fox are going to want to make this deal worthwhile. If you don't like it, complain to the Government - they're the ones who refuse to put our matches on the anti-siphoning list.

Are you kidding? Surely SBS could buy the rights for the tournament? WTF.

Complain to your local politicians both Liberal and Labour and ask why our national Football team doesnt get the same rights as the Wallabies, Cricket team etc.

No offence, but this has been news since late last year, yeah its annoying that its not on free to air but why not get down to your local Green and Gold Army venue and watch the match with other supporters.

It is annoying having people bringing it up, Fox Sports wanted to pour money into the game, why would the FFA say no, they offered more than anyone else ever has, and at least the game is not left to rot like it was at channell 7

Exactly right.

It will be on at pubs and clubs left and right - or find a mate who does have FOX and bring round a carton.

Agreed

Fox is the only ones that are putting their hard earn into sport

FTA only treats Oz sporting public like idiots and we let them get away with it

Is it going to be on the big screens at FED square like the world cup was.

let hope so, I know the Agincourt Hotel in Sydney will be exactly like it was in the world cup, Socceroos HQ:thumbsu: If worst comes to worst there is always streaming. Worked like a charm when Sydney FC played Uruwa in Saitama:thumbsu:

It won't be on at FED SQUARE. FFA better spend this 120m Foxtel money on something good for it to be worthwhile.

A 10m 3 year contract for a world class coach comes to mind.

A Youth league would be alot more productive mate than some sleazy frenchman. Don't worry about the coverage not being free to air, as I have said earlier, get into a green and gold pub venue, great atmosphere
