It was kinda disguised because it looked like it hit the back of our player.
The draw for the third round will be held on 27 June 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There was a first round before these qualifiers? Can only imagine the standard !
Apparently for the entire 6 group games we only faced 8 shots on target.

Considering we faced 9 shots last night with only 2 on target I can see that being true.
So despite winning every game we failed to make pot 1 for the next stage (presumably due to our poor Asian Cup pushing us down the FIFA rankings.)
Not ideal when Arnie claimed this was why we had to win every game. Chance we cop Japan and the Saudis in the same group again which would be a disaster.
Hoping so much for Iran finally, and North Korea for giggles.
Anyway, strong result last night - friendliest ref I can recall us getting in Asia. Great to see a few of the promising youngsters get minutes last two games.

Not sure how that works, weren't we the best performed AFC nation at WC2022? And not like S Korea had a great Asian Cup tournament either. They drew with Malaysia ffs.

Bit of a scandal with India almost pulling off an upset draw with Qatar
No VAR for this level is a joke really. Our first two goals both would have been rightfully chalked off.
Forgot to say Yengi and Circati look the part already. Combine them with Bos, Irankunda, Robertson and potentially Tilio and Gauchi and the next wave looks decent.

Our second one was perfectly fine. You are thinking of the 3rd one.
Correct, blew my mind a bit we actually scored three goals in a half
We were about 0.06 FIFA points away from 3rd.

We should have just beaten Korea and not choked hard at the Asian Cup.
I think we needed to buy more FIFA bucks, that VC would have gotten us over the line
