Didn't have time to check who was playing so Pods and Rockliff (emergency) on the bench. Funny thing is all my other bench players played.

Didnt realise sam fisher was injured and want to trade him off, thinking H Shaw as collingwood play melb this week, McPharlin might be value, or Hurley and putting him on bench and bringing beau waters on to the ground. Any advice would be great. 1st time dream teamer, scored 2028 for my first round

H Shaw is the best option of the lot.

Yes, it's round 1, you need to be more patient.
Rockliff will play early (barring injury), wait on him, he will make you money when he comes in. Lobbe doesn't need to play to be of value to you, as you can use his multi-positioning to provide ruck cover (when you need it). Don't waste trades in the ruck.

What are peoples thoughts on Howlett? Do you think he will get an extended run in the team with mcveigh, nlm and possibly myers to come back into the team? Will he hold a spot over Hocking and Lonergan?

Yeah i've got Gray also but i'm gonna stick strong with him so long as Hitchcock keeps performing. I was hoping that Rockliff would come in this week as he is my other emergency but it wasn't to be.

The one positive to take out of this is that hopefully many will jump off Gray at the end of this round. The ones that hold their nerves are the ones that will see the dividends down the track.

Ablett, Mitchell, Selwood, Vince, Barlow, Martin (Shuey, Banner).

I'm pretty happy with this.

My first upgrade will be either Judd, Pendles or Murphy for one of the rookies.

Anyway, what do people think about this week. Should i stick with Barlow and Martin on the ground. I'm thinking that Shuey is gonna be a consistantly high scorer so should i bring him in for Martin?

I'd consider it seriously given that WC are playing Port at home.

62 is okay on the bench but Martin was rubbish last week if you had him starting.. can't see him doing better against the Dogs than Shuey against Port at home imho.

My other bench is KT.. will be looking closely at Bastinac this week, especially if KT gets dropped.
