Do you want some?, I needed a few after that “fight of the century”.
It’s math by the way, why the plurality of a single natured process?
And….there are no gods, no sufficient reason nor evidence has been provided thus far.👍

We could just refer to the non-abbreviated word - mathematics - and then we’d be under no confusion about the ‘s’ at the end.
As said to CC

I know I know, crazy that country got something right!
But, they did give us Carl Sagan and Richard Feynman, so I forgive them!😈

cc, no capitalisation please, I did it for good reason.
Also, your god doesn’t exist, the universe operates perfectly unaided by the Laws of Physics of its own volition.
Got any evidence to counter yet?
Also, given there was no garden of Eden and no original sin committed by rib woman, was a human sacrifice required to atone for something that never historically occurred?
Cheers…..I have more questions too, but this is a start!

Good that you have questions- we all have questions- so you are not necessarily convinced of your atheism, despite the strong comments.
Besides, it is Ask An Atheist now

Yet you avoided answering his questions and replied with reverse psychology straight away like you usually do. Play with a straight bat for a change mate.

there was no question, merely statements of opinion and assumption asking for a comment.

He did ask a question about the garden of Eden and you ended up projecting instead. Why do you always avoid answering the question(s)?

Let me ask you the same question then. Do you think Adam and Eve were literal people? if yes, what evidence do you have? if they weren't literal people, no sin was committed then?

Adam and Eve may not have been literal people, but the concept of sin certainly is useful, real, applicable and relevant today as it has been forever. Evidently. That some of you refuse to acknowledge sin is your choice. Whether you denigrate the topic because the Bible OT writings are archaic, is again your choice. I don't regard all words as literal, and have no issue accepting that God is our Creator, detests sin, we sin "religiously", and He has given us an out by mere acceptance of Jesus Christ. SIN is real. Go ahead and mock and ask for evidence, but you need look no further than your nose. We all sin.

There is clearly good and bad in our world, but there is NOTHING useful about the concept of sin.

Took me four decades to learn that. My parents were kind and loving and meant only the best for me but gee their religious beliefs messed me up in ways they would never have considered.

What is sin? As in a definition.

Sin is disobeying what god says to do. In NT God asks women to submit to men, people not to take atheists as friends, masturbating is a crime, slavery is fine, disbelieving in God is a sin etc etc. Are these all sins? who in this day and age consider any of these as a 'sin'???

These are perfect examples how sin is a social construct, all these things were acceptable back in those days it's unacceptable today. Secondly, social norms different. When i moved to Switzerland from Australia, many things which are acceptable in Australia weren't acceptable in Switzerland. I adjusted to the social norm that you do not stand that close to the next person in a queue or you don't sit next to someone on a bus. It's an unspoken norm. If cultural leaders, such as religious figures, decided that it would benefit all of society to follow this norm as a rule, they might codify it making it a sin. Usually these rules are created to address a specific issue (and sometimes because the religious or political leaders were just nuts), and when that need is no longer accurate the law remains because they said it was "from god," and since god never changes, his law shouldn't either.

This is why you are wrong, yet you are so stubborn you will not accept the most rational argument you stick to your stubborn hopeless argument.
