Is it proven that people died directly from his actions? It shouldn't be forgotten that this was a man too sick and broken to attend his own hearing, but strides confidently onto a private jet home. People have died because of his actions, he was wrong and knew it was illegal. What happens now? Does he get his own TV show? Or will he fade away and just be known as the Wikileaks founder and enemy of hairstylists worldwide? Perhaps he could rekindle his political ambitions? Shortly before his exile, Assange announced that he was running for a seat in the Australian Senate, who knows he might have another crack it? Maybe that book deal will finally come through? It's bound to happen now. In 2016 he had a $1.5 million book deal fall through when he fired his ghostwriter, a man who subsequently called him "mad, sad and bad". The circus lands in town tonight.

Heh yep literally just read this bit on the ABC feedNo it’s not, and the Judge said that in todays hearing…
In response to the question, or argument, that Assange put lives at risk and his disclosures were not in the public interest, his wife Stella Assange says there is "no evidence of any actual harm".
She said that was "exactly what the US government acknowledged in court today".
"There is no denying the public interest in WikiLeaks publications."
And Albanese is mis-reading the room if he thinks he should be doing a victory lap.
The first question should be: If you're so happy Assange is free, why did you just put McBride in prison?
The guy who deliberately tried to get TRUMP elected is free. How long will it take for people to realise he is a right winger?
If we can retcon Ben Cousins we can do anyone, we have the technologyIt shouldn't be forgotten that this was a man too sick and broken to attend his own hearing, but strides confidently onto a private jet home. lol, the dems tried to kill him so he released some shit. Fair tbhThe guy who deliberately tried to get TRUMP elected is free. How long will it take for people to realise he is a right winger?
I'm glad he's free at last, but let's not make him some sort of hero, he's an activist, not a journo. If we can retcon Ben Cousins we can do anyone, we have the technology
Nah but seriously it's great he's out, think he'll have a quietish life from now and well deserved, **** the american empire
What's sad? I'm happy the bloke is free, but we shouldn't be making a hero out of this activist.Saddest campaigner on BF right here folks.
He was a very skilled "hacker" Assange wrote a program called Sycophant that allowed the International Subversives to conduct "massive attacks on the US military". What do you think might happen? He has pleaded guilty. Also, not much has been said of Assange leaving Sweden for the UK on 27 September 2010 and was arrested in his absence the same day. He was suspected of rape, unlawful coercion and multiple cases of sexual molestation. The best thing he can do is disappear, into anonymity. He looked in good shape boarding that plane and i suspect that won't happen and he will be vocal again soon.Is it proven that people died directly from his actions?
Exclusive interview on spotlight for jules ,

Trump offered him a full pardon if he released the leak source for the DNC emails(ie it wasn't Russia), he refused because journalism. When you realise dems/GOP are both right wingers this may make sense to you
Until he does an interview with Tucker Carlson. So is he the darling of the left again? It's hard to keep up.
