I actually saw part of the game today. The only way I recognise him is to look who the guy is who is punting the ball. All those helmets and things obscure the player.
Anyway, he seems to be going well. It's interesting to be able to follow him pretty easily over here.

Geez reading that thread there is not one bad comment about him, they really love him.
One guy even said if he keeps this up he'll be in the hall of fame.

Ben really hasn't been given a lot of press yet - but he will when they use him to receive or run on a faked punt.
Nobody really gets excited about punters - but we're talking Jets fans here.

I hope you guys were watching Mat McBriar today, Aussie punting for the Cowboys..
He did this one real good kick (58 yards i think) a booming kick that landed on the oppositions 3 yard line or so and spun sideways... it was great.

Didn't help them though, they choked a 10 point lead in the final quarter to lose by a point.

Yeah, should of chucked Mat into Corner, would have done a much better job that the ones they had in there.

Now the Jets are without a real QB (debatable that they had one one in the first place), Benny's leg is going to get a working over.
He'll probably get more kicks as a punter than his last season in the AFL.

Generally the poorer the offense, the more you'll kick the ball. Benny would've had even more punts if the teams starting QB didn't fumble the ball so often. He's now out for the rest of the year (and his backup just 7 plays later) and the Jets have replaced him with the 41-year-old Vinny Testaverde.
Benny must feel like a junior.
Here's the stats for all punters

Look at Number 19 in those stats
Big Ben (not Graham) can really do it all!
Now that Graham has introduced a lot of Aussies to the game, maybe they can in turn learn the rules and get into the game, so then they realise that they shouldnt be carrying on so much about a Punter! Just kidding, I love it too!

Graham's the only shining light at the team at the mo!
Jets fans were havig wet dreams about Graham and Nugent prior to season's start. They were going to take us to the big show you would have thought.
