Nah, Australia has a good team culture. Kyrie is the antithesis of that. It doesn't matter how good he is at basketball. The guy is a spanner and a locker room cancer.
I tend to agree with you about not messing up the team culture, but at the same time I do think having Kyrie with all the other NBA talent we possess just about guarantees us a medal. We have to decide what's more important between giving ourselves the best possible chance of succeeding or protecting a strong team culture.

I hadn't even heard of Ducas til a couple of weeks ago

It's nice to realise how far Aussie bball has come, when we've got sneaky NBA players flying under the radar

Former Boomer Thon Maker waived by Houston.
No surprise. He'll make decent money playing out of the US. Probably on a new team though as he last played in Beirut which is probably off the table given the situation there

My excuse for this post is Alanna Smith starting for Minnesota, and Sandy Brondello coaching New York.

This WNBA finals series has been crazy good so far.
Minnesota just leveled it at home.
Game 5 decider is back at Barclays on Monday morning aussie time.

He's signed on with the Rockets G-League affiliate.

Atlanta fans are over the moon with Dyson Daniels. He's a great fit with Trey and off just one showing they're saying he's the best perimeter defender they've had in a long time.
He's an awesome defender at an all defensive teams level. The question with him is whether he can do enough on the other end to avoid being a Thybulle type who is limited in minutes.

Daniels surprised me during the Olympics with his offensive game. Doing well to start the season too

Giddey vs Thunder tomorrow.
Hopefully he can prove OKC and the media/general public wrong.
The consensus seems to be that the trade was a massive steal for OKC getting Caruso with no picks involved, and losing a questionable player like Giddey. While being a horrible trade for the Bulls.
People seem to think Giddey is a lost cause, with no hope of developing a 3 point shot and destined to be a bench player like OKC planned.
He's only turned 22 and has plenty of time to improve.

Caruso is almost the exact kind of player Okc didn't really need but at the same time giddey no longer fit into that system
wild that so many 'experts' think this was a home run for okc.
At the end of the day OKC were never going to want to pay giddey after this season. Giddeys 3 point shooting is looking solid to start the season too
