It would be a shame if Pat doesn't try all he can to get Butler a ring. Bam is also untradeable, but Miami is a destination city for players, Riley banking on the famous 'Heat Culture' to get another ring is admirable, but naive and misguided.

Doubt it, Jordan was/is uncompromising and Pippen is a weird cat. Klay generally seems pretty chill, and has four rings and a career worth of open shots on account of playing alongside Steph. Not much to be bitter about really.

He does need recognise that he's probably not a max player any more though. A Middleton-esque contract might be a fair compromise.

No one is arguing he is as good as he used to be, but to say he has been cooked for 12 months is massively over the top.

So you think the Warriors should have traded him back in 2021?

Two years ago he was still out with his knee/archillies injury.

And a reminder we won the Championship in 2022.
