The upshot was that Zoehrer wasn't even a particularly good keeper.
Much like Inglis.
Careful now .

I recall Jeffrey Dujon being asked who the best keeper in world cricket was (besides himself) and answering Zoehrer...this was while Healy was keeping for Australia. The upshot was that Zoehrer wasn't even a particularly good keeper.

Id pay big bucks for the green pine lime Aus A kit from 94/95
is the channel frozen for anyone else or is it just me?
With retro sportswear all the rage these days, CA are missing a trick by not re-releasing some of these classic designs.Id pay big bucks for the green pine lime Aus A kit from 94/95

As long as they don't do this, where the colours are wrong and the logo is in the wrong spot and it looks terrible. With retro sportswear all the rage these days, CA are missing a trick by not re-releasing some of these classic designs.
Reckon a 94/95 or even a 99 strip would sell better than our current ODI/T20 outfit.

The last point is interesting.because I can't be bothered creating a new thread:
- MCG Boxing Day and SCG New Year's Tests locked in until the 2030-31 season.
- Adelaide Oval will host December pre-Christmas Tests until the 2030-31 season, however some may be played during the day.
- Perth's Optus Stadium to host the first Test of the next three summers.
- Brisbane's Gabba only locked in until the end of the 2025-26 season, with next year's Ashes Test potentially its last.
Yes please. Was really happy to see us get a ashes test in covid times. Would love to get consistent games.Hobart??
Sounds like a politician trying way too hard at sideshows rather than sticking to the engaging cricket matches that fans care about.“We are going to festivalise cricket,” he (Victorian Tourism, Sport and Major Events minister Steve Dimopoulos) said.
“...it is something extraordinarily different, and especially than what we’ve done previously.
“We’re going to raise the show so high in terms of live music and food and festival zones and fan zones and community outreach.
“Come and try activities. This will be like the Australian Open festival of cricket over the next seven years.”

is this what we want???
I think if you were doing a "T20 gather round" it would make more sense, compared to a Test match.
Problem with a gather round though is that BBL fans don't travel outside their city or state to watch BBL.I think if you were doing a "T20 gather round" it would make more sense, compared to a Test match.
Also there will be a 150th anniversary Test match against England at the MCG in March 2027because I can't be bothered creating a new thread:
