I didn't know Ablett and Glass were there.
Chortle.
Not sure we should take your assessment of defenders seriously. After all daft enough to suggest Clement was better than Enright.

The potshots he took at others in the book show a bloke who despite his obvious football ability has a very bitter and twisted view of the world.

And at his book launch, what happened?

Geelong fan and gotta admit Scarlett would be just about the most average bloke you could meet without crossing the line of criminal/absolute scum. Just an ordinary unit. He's grown up since his retirement though so good that footy can be a positive in ways.

The dominator had ex wife n wife there,he seems like a decent bloke, was happy to get his speech over so he can relax and have a few bevies.

Not to push the Saints agenda too much, but it's fair to say Stewart Loewe, Nicky Winmar and Nathan Burke have all been a bit stiff when it comes to Hall of Fame induction.

And if you think Nathan Burke is the weak link out of the three...
  • Three-time St. Kilda Best and Fairest – 1993, 1996, 1999
    • Runner Up 2 times
    • Third 3 times
  • St Kilda AFL Pre-Season Cup Winning side 1996 (Co-Captain)
  • State of Origin representative for Victoria 11 times
    • Victorian State of Origin Captain and Vice Captain
  • All Australian 4 times
    • All Australian Vice Captain 1997
And can't forget a member of the Saints team of the century.

And a bunch of 'Best AFL Player of the Year' awards, like the Herald Sun Player of the Year, Sunday Herald Sun Player of the Year, Channel 7 Sportsworld Player of the Year, The Age Newspaper Player of the Year, Lou Richards Medal, etc.

Also captained the Saints to a minor premiership and grand final, as well as captained the Saints to the pre-season premiership (back when it meant something) and sits in the top 20 disposals of all-time.

And keep in mind he did all this while in a team with the likes of Trevor Barker, Tony Lockett, Nicky Winmar, Stewart Loewe, Spider Everitt, Robert Harvey, Lenny Hayes and Nick Riewoldt.
