So because Federer & Nadal have retired, the Aussie crowds at the AO have become bogans, rude & boo? 🥴
They’ve loss their class. At least with Federer it was fine, but it’s been happening a while.
2022 Final Nadal v Medvedev was disgusting. Cheered every error Danill made.

Djokovic is the only player I have seen crowds consistently have an issue with. And it isn't even Australia-specific. So not sure where the "hate all things non-Federer" comes from
He tried too hard to be liked to the point where it grated people because it seemed so manufactured. He’s had his spats. Then there was the Covid $hit. And he was bloke that dethroned Fed and Nadal which irked their supporters. There’s a lot there that separates him from all the other blokes on the tour.

Crowds have had issues with Novak all over the world. Can't just blame Aus fans imo

I'd suggest there a few people who started going to the AO in the past couple of years who don't really know much about tennis & don't understand tennis crowd etiquette.

Very much doubt diehard Federer & Nadal fans are the one's booing & yelling out during serves.

Have you ever watched any Opens played in the US? Or France?

Outclassed but far from embarrassed. Like others have said on here I am more positive about Shelton's future Grand Slam chances after this game than before it. Loved the strategy tonight - aggressive and threw a lot of different things at Sinner. Sinner was just too good on the night - hope he goes all the way now.
