Labor powerbrokers Cameron Milner and Michael Costa don't agree with that as late as an hour ago, They both said Albo needs to come totally clean, just because he claims he never did it personally doesn't mean he didn't get his staff to do it on his behalf...especially when he was in the transport minister portfolio it reeks of a very bad stench..

Gone missing today so as expected every Labor MP that fronted the media had to go into bat for him because it was the obvious question to put to them...this isn't going away and the longer he tries the stonewalling it will only get worse.

What they need to do is ban all types of gifts - ban every single one of them.

It isn’t just good enough to declare, the issue is what does the one gifting get out of it - and this goes for both Albanese and Dutton. Dutton says his flight provided by Gina didn’t cost the taxpayer anything, that is irrelevant. Gina will want something out of that but we won’t ever know.

Pigs arse, the Federal government did have a "play book" that listed what our response was meant to be in the event of a pandemic, they chose to ignore it and instead make decisions on the 'vibe'.

And yet Border Lockdowns were not one of the things criticised in the review, because they were extremely successful.

Border Lockdowns kept WA residents safe until the vaccine was administered to the bulk of their population, while COVID was running rampant just as the rest of the country opened up, thanks to the ineptitude of Domicron Perrotet.

Border Lockdowns prevented the rest of the country enduring the world's longest lockdown, as suffered by Melbournites. The rest of us got to live our lives free, between the initial outbreak and the Domicron outbreak (which was made worse by Scomo's Strollout - which did get a bollocking in the report). Why did we have that period of freedom? Because of the border lockdowns.

Now, if you want to rail against the 5km limit - then yes, you have a valid point. That was arbitrary, with no scientific evidence to support it. But Border Lockdowns were something which worked.

The main issues which the review found wanting were:

• The Strollout (which killed an extra 20K people).
• The effect of school closures on children's mental health and education.
• Poorly implemented Govt schemes (e.g. JobSaver), which resulted in $20B being wasted, contributing significantly to our current inflation crisis.

To which I would add:

• Dan's 5km limit
• Dan's dodgy deals which resulted in the virus escaping the quarantine hotels, resulting in Melbourne's obscenely lengthy lockdown.

Just a charitable donation out of the goodness of her heart, with no hope or expectation of ever getting any favour from Dutton in return. Bless Gina. What a saint.

As others have said, we need much heavier restrictions on the greasing up of politicians on all sides by billionaires and multibillion dollar corporations. The proof is in the pudding. Who are our economic policies (decided on by our politicians) working for? Who do they benefit?

However, you continually refuse to acknowledge the problems with the longitudinal aspects of the trials.

Answer me this: How long do these vaccines remain effective in the human body, and how often will people need to be re-vaccinated (i.e. given booster shots)?

You can't answer that question, because the pharma companies don't know the answers, because the trials haven't been running long enough for them to find out. This is just one of the problems/questions which cannot be answered by throwing more money at the problem, but can only be answered with the passage of time.

For now, the risk remains low... low enough that there is no medical emergency to justify using Australians as lab rats.

How long was the flu vaccine tested & trialled before it was initially approved? Yes, there's a variant released every year, but the initial vaccine went through a thorough testing process.

Right now the risk is too great, because there isn't sufficient information about the drugs. In order to be approved they need to be proven to be both safe & effective. To date, neither of these has been proven. With very little COVID in Australia, the rewards are minimal, so the risk would need to be very low for the risk/reward determination to come out in favour of the drugs. The risk is nowhere near low enough to make that a viable decision.

The TGA will not be giving any emergeny approvals for these drugs, because there is no emergency. They are waiting to see if the evidence proves that the drugs are both safe & effective. Having millions of lab rats injected with these experimental drugs will at least give them more data points on which to make their decision, even if the longitudinal questions remain unanswerable for now.

Yes, I am prepared to wait, because the risk is unacceptably high, and the reward for Australians is negligible.

Australia doesn't have a medical emergency. We have control of our borders, unlike Canada. We do not have an authoritarian government which couldn't give a s**t about injecting experimental drugs into the population.

There is no reason why we should approve these drugs prematurely, and the Govt & TGA are giving no indications that they will.

We know that you've been gurgling the Big Pharma bathwater, but it's time you woke up to reality. Injecting millions of Australians with experimental and unproven drugs is not a good idea.

It's hilarious the Liberals went all out attack on Albanese who appears to have declared everything & meanwhile Dutton lied about the same type of perks from a billionaire & McKenzie is busy trying to backdate her missed travel rorts.
