Clothes dryer, never owned one never will
That makes two of us, but it's stock standard nowadays unfortunately.

We're on tank water here so we also use a Teco twin tub and not those water.energy guzzling automatic washing machines.

Never had to buy water since we've been here.

When the early Australians without all these modern building practices worked out keeping the sun off the walls with all round verandas was a smart move in places where summer heat was a major factor with the added factor of more catchment for the rain to be utilised., unfortunately now most of the new builds I see in Ballarat don't even have eaves, look out if the ever get a blocked gutter.

Problem now is the people seem to want big houses on small blocks, most around ballarat don't even have room for the Aussie icon the Hills Hoist so they use the energy guzzling clothes dryers either at home or at the laundromats.. Very few even have rainwater tanks so the rainwater just pisses out into the street gutters.
Agree this. Should be building smaller homes with more garden to catch water.

The COVID vaccine obsessed cookers that reply to these stories are hardly proof of anything.

Just because there's ridiculous claims being made that long COVID is vaccine induced it doesn't substantiate it.

I work with a woman who had long COVID who wasn't vaccinated and there's also the fact that long COVID was around before the vaccine.

My house face east-west and built federation style house in early 90’s with eaves - front verandah (which only captures the early morning sun and sunblock blinds), carport on the northern aspect which protects the northern side walls of the house and on the western side of heaps of trees in the back which from about 3pm shade the western side of the house (plus have roller shutters on the bedroom windows). And the wine room is on the southern side, so no sun at all with roller shutters on windows.

All these properties being built nowadays have little or no eaves and lack trees and they must get as hot as hades in summer. Just ****ing ridiculous for our type of climate.

Yes, Long covid existed before covax was available!

Just ask 1990crow ... who had a horrible experience.

Covid has had a far bigger negative impact on society, whereas covax has had a net positive impact, even though has had an adverse affect on some.

Anyone who uses the “C” word next year should be banned for a month. We are nearly 5 years on from the first outbreak and nearly 3 years since our international borders opened.

Time for those you keep raising it to move on.
Seriously should see psychologist to get help if still obsessed with it...

That's very disrespectful to those suffering from Long Covid.

From the dates in that article, all of the Australian cases would've been vaccinated before they got Covid. If you were genuinely doing a scientific investigation you would have to consider the impact of that and not just attribute every persistent symptom as 'Long Covid'.

Of course you would struggle to find a representative sample of unvaccinated people for comparison due to our stupid Covid policies.

Many had long covid before covax.

But you would expect given the covax program vaccinated the vast majority, most with long covid now would have had covax.

There are long covid health clinics, where hopefully they can discover more answers to help going forward.

You are calling for censorship on BF because you don't like the topic. You don't have to read the posts or reply.
