There has been some talks of Harry Brooks taking over the captaincy realms going ahead after that series. I actually thought as captain he did a pretty reasonable job.
Also id imagine going ahead England will have to make a decision on : Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Bairstow and Buttler. Feels a bit like the game may have passed Joe Root by in ODI cricket. Someone has to bite the bullet of that failed campaign in 2023. Jamie Smith looked more than handy with bat and gloves. And im not sure if Stokes body can hold up , he seems to be breaking down a fair bit.
