Clarkson is a ******* tosser. He loves ZAC THE HACK ....he had all 4 goals by Rocca kicked on him, and T. Cloke pumped him(in the second quarter).


Surely Roughead would be better than Dawson, I would prefer him than Dawson even if he couldn't walk.

yeh... because dawson was playing on rocca for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarters. he only played on rocca for the 1st quarter and only conceded 2 goals. that one after the siren dawson was just the only guy in our defensive half and had to go to him so yeh, get your facts right. oh and you think you could do a better job with the list we have at the moment? i think not. now dont be like that roos supporter but give the coach a break he cant control every kick or handball can he?

That's just over the top Danny. Dawson is slowly getting better (mind you it's VERY slowly), but he should be there ... soon.

Roughead has been just AS solid as Dawson in recent weeks to be honest, btu I suppose the coaching staff just know that he has the ability to be a hell of alot better than he's playing now (wow I just answered my own question from above ).

Anyway he spent more time on him than that!

I wouldn't do better than Clarkson, but I couldn't do worse it is quite easy to get draft picks come third bottom, and say we are developing players. Who can't do that?

At least the Roos arn't bottom three every year! 14 wins in nearly 3 years!

Why did he get moved off him then. It was only two goals in the first quarter

and Rob Campbell played on him(for the last quarter) Roughead moved up forward.

Roughead has been terrible since Brisbane and the difference between him and Zac: Zac played on a pretty good forward and got beaten. Roughead played on a secopnd year dud and got towelled. Simple..

yeh he looks a good, young player, can play a forward or back, reads the ball well in the air, accurate in front of goal, so yeh see how he goes. (hope he is a permanent forward for us).

Actually, I'd say it will be Dowler, Bailey and Kane on the emergency list this week.....

We may have to wait another week or two to see B1 and The Bailer...........I hope not though.

Quite sensational really. Get's back to Clarko and his cohorts have been thinking very much like we posters in this place. In other words something needs to be done about the way in which we are travelling.

The great thing now is that we will be all eyes on super-youngsters, Beau Dowler and Max Bailey, 18 and 19 respectively. This announcement has really made my day. Surely after naming them on the interchange they will be in the starting 22.

Let's all here at the BF Hawks Board wish the kids all the best. We need them to do well and go on to play the remaining five games.

As for Roughie, it was on the cards and is no surprise he has been omitted. He simply cant hold marks, uncontested, lightly contested and contested. For his size he should be able to take the big grabs.

Great to see Bailey and Dowler in, lets hope they stay on that extended interchange. And with the ommision of Roughead I can smell Dowler getting a crack down back seeing he has played the majority of the games down back at Box Hill.

Unfortunatly I would rather see Roughie in to add depth to our Key Position ranks so we can rotate Dowler, Roughie and Dawson between forwards.

How Dawson gets another game ahead of Roughie is dumbfounding. Freo don't have a full fwd and Dawson is only a one position player, just.
