Paywall for me. What rule are they planning on changing?

Hocking wants to stop delays in the game, I assume he means when players don’t give ball back quickly or pretend to pick it up and such because it gives time to get back and defend.

KB wants reduced interchange

both would probably just help us.

How the hell do they expect to improve the game when they are constantly making teams change the way they play?

It's the rule changes doing this now, they are not allowing teams time to adapt to the changes, which is creating for a shit spectacle most years.

I also lol'd when that cheat and pitiful excuse for a ruckman Rhys Stanely tried to claim that he touched it, right after dropping a simple chest mark. What a pathetic spud

Anyone else sick of hearing about if cats took their chances in 2nd?

Over 20 minutes from their first goal Geelong scored 5.3, that’s an exceptional 20 minute period scoring wise. Especially this year when games are shorter and scores are lower. It’s effectively half a total game score in about a quarter of game time.
And we won by 31 points, kicking 5.5 in the last quarter, so it really could've been more. The Cats would've needed 7-8 goals on us the way we turned it on in the second half.

is it that hard to leave the game alone for once?
This.
We had a fantastic product once upon a time. Then we proceeded to **** it up as often as we could by messing incessantly with the rules. The league even bring in a rules commission who are paid to change rules and **** the integrity of the purest form of the games originality
Just leave the game as it was!!

Interesting to hear Emma Murray's comments about what happened in the Richmond rooms at half time

Mindfulness really helping Noah Balta to focus on the game and Bachar with his injury.

Just listening to the SEN call on the road this morning. Some brilliance from volcano

And the Richmond runner has gone straight out for a one on one conversation with Edwards and Pickett

Just in time for a Cameron and Hawkins combination to reap the rewards.... Well played Hocking.
If I was Geelong I wouldn't be banking on benefits from rule changes. We've all seen how 666, kicking in after points has had zero effect on anything. (RFC)

Not giving the ball back quickly is already a penalty. Get rid of nominating rucks. that's just slow.
The biggest problem with rule changes is the viewing public can't keep up and it just adds another level of confusion. This is the time of year I wish I followed an international sport like rugby.

Unfortunately, getting rid of that ridiculous practice makes sense, so I'm not holding my breath on that one disappearing anytime soon.
