I'm baffled that you're even bringing this up. All those players chose to join the Bombers. All those players had up until deadline on squad submission to leave them.

Seems to be an expectation that WW and the Bombers should have just allowed JWS to leave for peanuts, but on the same foot posters claim he is a top level poster so why is he only worth peanuts in a trade?

Any selling club would have asked for overs in that situation. As I'm not privvy to any negotiations I have no idea what was on the table. However the circumstance did not deserve the melt that followed and has continued to follow.

And yes I think WW is a bit of an idiot.

Aah well.... agree JWS behaved in appalling manner and of course copped what he deserved. Apologies for not warning you. FWIW I think you and the other people I suggested if it came to it would do an excellent job.

You're a cool calm and collected fella, I like how you understate things to keep it on the down low.

So pantsredacted - you strike me as an impartial person. Here is a proposition.

Given the Committee will not consider the question of whether WaynesWorld19 has brought the game into disrepute through a series of events, I ask them to set up an Independent Inquiry.

I suggest you, people like brahj and Kennedy Parker be requested to investigate and report on whether WW19 has brought the game into disrepute in the matters of:
* TalkingFootyNow1223
* Metalcrusher
* Josh Wooden Spoon

Enlighten me oh wordy one..
On what basis did WaynesWorld19 bring the game into disripute regarding the aforementioned posters?

If anyone has anything more than "the Bears haven't posted so they must be guilty" I'd like to hear it

Is your committee crying falling on deaf ears?

Why is "crying" when I have asked for information to support the charge my team has been asked to vote on?

It's probably in the bullet points on what the Sweet FA is. This is the creed that all posters should have seen, new posters should see. Engaging in banter is expected. If you decide deliberately to not as a team you're literally not playing in the spirit of the game and going against what we have built.

WHAT IS THE SWEET F.A AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • Social Fantasy Football League
  • Design your player as you wish by signing up to the league
  • Sign up with 1 of our 12 league clubs
  • Your captain will choose your position that you play in (posting activity will get you a better position)
  • Engage in banter for a week with your opposition in match threads
  • Each Sunday (Round) two teams go head-to-head in a simulated game
  • The simulated game is a text form of an AFL game
  • The simulator is completely random
  • The simulator generates 'statistics' for how you and your team played
  • Home & Away Season & Finals Series
  • Mobbenfuhrer Medal night (our version of the Brownlow, and various other awards)!
  • MEDALS: You can achieve BigFooty profile medals/badges by being in the league

Cool, thanks. Can you show me anything that suggests the Bears' have deliberately coordinated not to post in their match thread? I've asked elsewhere but I'm not getting anywhere unfortunately.

Not sure I agree with point 1. I think good media is as responsible for the league thriving as match threads are. I'm more interested in Kennedy Parker 's next ramble than I am about a match thread.

There's been more activity on here because someone ISN'T posting. This is a good thing. This event has actually fired the place up, and we're going to punish someone because of it? Lunacy.

Of course a team effort to not post is different. Who wouldn't agree to that.
And of course I want match threads.

Do you believe one team, not posting for one week, as a one off, destroys the league?
Well there's plenty of things we could do that's great for media but not great for the league.

The Filth Wizard do we still play the Bombers again this season? If the Bears are ruled innocent then surely the Royals would be justified in excusing ourselves for the week when it comes around.

PS I never ramble, I make well-reasoned cogent arguments for the points that I want to get across.

I don't have access to the team PM they have and let's not be silly. You're way smarter than that to be playing this game. It's co-ordinated.

I recall the Bombers made similar claims when they were found guilty.

And I'm on record of saying I wasn't here for the bombers sanction, but I've never agreed with it based upon what I've read. Sanctioning people because they don't qooty the way you approve is bullshit

And as I've said to you endlessly today, you are entitled to your opinion and it has no bearing on mine.

So here's the thing - I've been told by multiple people that they have heard the Bears were going to do this and yet noone is able to produce anything to support this theory. Now I believe the Bears have deliberately coordinated to not post in their match thread because of JWS however I am not going to start penalising individuals and teams based on hearsay and I would like to think that the committee I am part of shares this view. If someone can produce something that demonstrates this deliberate coordination, I will take that back to my club and support the charge that has been laid. Until that happens, I don't believe it is fair to even charge someone let alone penalise them.

I ask again - can you show me something that demonstrates this deliberate coordinated effort to not post in a match thread... please?

It only takes one committee member to bring up WW on a charge of disrepute and three others to ratify it.

Barry, if thats your logic, it is very flawed.

Then stop saying I've got a double.standard for the bombers. I would have applied the rule the same to the as I do the bears

Noone, even you, have the right to tell posters how to post and how often to post

Why would you be asking me again when I have already said I don't have access to the team PM?

You're really making yourself look foolish here. I, and likely most others will choose to believe that a whole team decided to co-ordinate a boycott of a match thread than believe that by pure chance a whole team all decided to not post in a team thread.

I get you're blindly trying to support your ex-team and friends but they are guilty and they will be found guilty in the committee.
