Bailey and Hale not up to Sandi and Clarke's ability

A lot of people are getting carried away with Freo's win over Sydney "Greatest defensive effort ever seen " the media says ,yeah for approx. 11/2 qtrs. then the swans got even. The Swans missing 4 of their best players and another 3or 4 playing injured. The Swans were never going to win that game even before they arrived in Perth ,they had no forward targets Tippet was out ,O'Keefe was playing under duress as was McVeigh and Haneberry.

...but our victory against the Swans (by 9 goals) was shitful and has been long forgotten. Similarly the close margin (despite the Cats kicking 9.18) in the Qualifying Final.

The Dockers are manic though, Darc told us after all

Oh yeah, there pressure is immense apparently:oops: because you know, they did it for the full game against Sydney :hearts: (well the second half didn't count apparently) , im surprised we haven't heard about their great culture yet.

Max and Haley will stand up, Hale has been terrific all finals series, especially his marking. And Max is tall enough and good enough to at least get close to breaking even :)

The rucks is another great battle. I agree with the comments that Clarke is very athletic around the ground but both he and Sandilands are providing very little in attack where Hale has done some very good things. Sandilands is a monster though :D

Not convinced this flag will be won by ruckman dominance, agree that Freo have the better 2 rucks of the sides, but it won't be where this game will be won or lost IMO.

And what does it matter now anyway. Bailey and Hale are what we have so we need them to give their best. No point lamenting now that we don't have a good enough ruck combo. It;s the one we've had all year.

Hi mate, love your avatar. I hope to celebrate with a bottle after the game. :D

Sandilands has "great mobility"? You lost me there.

Slowest and dopiest player in the comp by an absolute mile. Guarantee you he'll be hitting up Mitchell, Sewell and Lewis more than Barlow, Mundy etc too.

He may very well rack up 50 hitouts, but he is absolutely woeful at directing them.

It has me f..ked why so much emphasis is on ruckman. Bloody hell. Bailey and Hale will show up Sandilands and Clark for the pretenders they really are. Its easy. All our ruckman have to do is make it a 50/50 contest in a ruck contest and then show them up around the ground.

I have siad it before and I will say it again, if ruckman win you premierships etc, the Freo would win it every year.!! Our boys will be all over these 2 muppets!

By 1cm over David Mundy.

I think David Hale will be a big deal in this game as will Nic Suban and Jordan Lewis.

1cm and 10KG and that is what Roughy uses when he is in the middle (not as a ruckman). This will be a game that does not come down to individual brilliance. Both teams are structured to not rely on single players. There will be big single handed efforts but it will be what each team does as a whole that will win this one
