So I have a condition,
enemy of justice, wanted for killing a guard. Allied guards will attack on sight. I got it in Moonrise Towers, I probably am going to get attacked by enemy guards every time I enter Moonrise Towers now aren’t I?

I had this in the first act that thankfully disappeared when I went to the next area. I read a lot about it and it can be cleared by killing who ever saw it and applied the condition. If you have a save you can go back to then keep it just in case, otherwise if you keep progressing with the story there let's just say I'm pretty sure it will clear itself.

I think it’s because I didn’t kill the
scrying eye in the prison that appears with the group just before boarding the boat that takes the gnomes and tieflings back to the inn, might have to go back and do that fight again and remember to kill the eye this time.
but I’ll wait and see what happens before changing something like that.

It probably is. When I was trying to work out what caused me to get it I read a lot about those eyes and that they can be a bit buggy. I believe I got it during the Nere fight. I had dwarves ally with me in the fight and I might have accidentally attacked one that got mind controlled and died during the fight.

If you want to test it out then make a save and wipe out the prison cell area. It shouldn't affect the rest of the tower.

Before doing that I might head back to
Moonrise Towers and see what happens, I need to do the Ketheric Thorn quest anyway, and I think I need to still try and find Rolan near the towers as well

I’m loving just plodding along trying to complete all the side quests I can and exploring while still progressing the main narrative of the game.

First of the companion quests I’ve really started on is Lae’zel’s and it’s been awesome so far.

From what I know of their backgrounds so far Astarion, Shadowheart and Gale quests are beginning to sound very interesting. I wasn’t expecting to meet
Elminster on the side of a track as part of Gale’s story line

coming slowly up to the ending of the game, while i don't regret making my own character, picking lae'zel as my player character was ultimately a good choice imo, while everyone's stories are good, i think her story has the most impact and the most you can take away from it. no spoilers of course but i'd recommend following everything when you're able to, it's absolutely worthwhile.

e: i had a spoiler but idk why it didn't post but the tldr
was that if you kill too many aligned characters it'll trigger a hostile reaction to you from that faction. i'd need to test but the way to fix it in DOS2 was to trade and give them gifts, i presume it's the same in this though

Got my first legendary weapon last night
The Blood of Lathander mace - looks badass on Shadowheart but I’m yet to test it out in battle yet. Seems like a perfect weapon for a cleric (especially a light cleric which is what I’ve respecced Shadowheart too.

Man
Raphael is such a cool character, the dude is smarmy and arrogant and you know he’s going to probably betray you eventually…but man is he a cool character, can’t help but like him, his voice actor did a marvellous job.

BRUH. Went to speak to Karlach, pressed the wrong button, stole something by accident, failed a dice roll, got sent to prison and in prison a mushroom blew me up.

WTF

That’ll learn you!

So ended up reloading the
moonrise towers prison and this time just killed everything before handing Wulbren his hammer…much easier that way lol and everyone survived.

Auntie Ethel quest disappeared after a long rest and the one with Wylls dad changed after I rested (but didn’t disappear) so I guess it didn’t fail
Don’t consider them failures…consider them choices. :D just another road that you can take in this game.

I had to go back to a save game with Auntie Ethel as we killed the hag instead of getting her down low on health to trigger her surrender and get the sweet rewards

My respecced Astarion is becoming quite the nova bomber at Level 6.

Gloomstalker Ranger 5/Rogue 1 - dual wield hand crossbows and short swords. Rest of the journey will be as a rogue I think - not sure whether it will be as a thief or assassin though.

Act 1 side quest bug on ps5

Rescuing the other fella from the fire. It's fine until he's out crying next to his wife and I can't exit the "battle" that you have with the burning house. I just can't get out of turn based mode. This happen to anyone else?
I had the same problem but if you press R2/RT it should take you to the menu where you can change it back to normal rather than turn-based.

my god the hag quest is one of the worst quests I’ve ever done in a video game.

The Halsin one however was LIT

Finally getting the hang of this game… I think. And I just figured out how to use the parasites for upgrades nearly 20 hours in lol
i did the hag quest right at the end of act 1, still tough then.

the gimmick is that all the clones will disappear once you hit them once, multitarget spells like eldritch blast (cantrip for warlock) or magic missile (level 1 spell for sorcerer) gets rid of the clones
