yeeeh i asked one of the guys the other day who does it coz he catches my train and he said you have to have a connection in the AFL.
good excuse to talk to the guy anywyay haha ;)

I would say a high ranking job at any of the companies that have corporate boxes located on the wing at the MCG. Get to see any match, free piss, what more do you want?

Looks as though it would be a sick job and I would love it, but yeah. There are downsides. But I am sure any diehard fan would love to have a go.

i thought matching up against kosi each week was the easiest job in the AFL?

One of my mates did it for a couple of years and he got the gig by knowing someone who worked for the AFL and AAMI Stadium.

He's not a umpire or anything like that it was just who he knew.

Saw a couple of them having a kick to kick with one of the balls at quarter time I think it was in the Saints Geelong game - the ball hit and rolled along the ground quite a few times, I know it's a bit pedantic in the greater scheme of things but that will affect the condition of the ball and is a bit unprofessional for mine

What about all the people who get their hands on the ball after a goal or a point ? Their greasy hands touching the ball from eating their pizza-pies would surely affect the players grip.

Would be a great experience to be an AFL ball boy.

Prime position behind the goals.

Don't have to concentrate too hard.

Get to see all the games up close.

Get to see the best games esp. at MCG/Docklands.

I think its the best job in the AFL?

Gaso;)

Also Get Payed

Or security guard.

I think being ground security would be an easy job also

Always find it amusing at the G seeing the four security guards protecting the centre square, two hours after the end of the game. Most of the lights are out but these four blokes are still out there. Just in case some unruly MCC member, drunk on Gin N Tonic jumps the fence.
