Your kidding right?
Mick was a good player in his day but that was 10 years ago.
Good fella but bad shoulders.

shit talk ? why would any club talk rubbish about a guy that is playing footy to have a kick with his mates great player/great guy
football is not important enough for him to persue another club
injurie and outside work commitments is the onlything holding him back at sth no other reason

How's Jake Edwards from Darley generally go? Kicked 5 today in ordinary conditions and took some very strong grabs.. Looked a real quality act today.

he killed us (east point) in the first half, good player.
darley would not be strong without him and tuddy

Massive game this weekend - Ballarat V Lakers. Winner will finish 2nd.

If Lakers lose they finish 4th and play East Point in an elimination final - if Ballarat lose they finish 3rd and play Darley in an Elimination final. Very little between these 2 and I would think both would like a crack at Sunba in the 1st final.

All good - will finish on top and have 2 home finals. A 7 point loss to Lakers in the bog is not that big a deal - that loss came after a 102 point win.

interesting 2 hour meeting held by melton south tonight with about 60 in attendance. my impression is they'll be staying in the BFL.

if they stay in the bfl they will be hopeless for many years until they fold, worse than the marsh

Don't think Redan can win it from here now. Ballarat's probably better off for losing on Saturday. They will murder East Point.

The Redan team look overweight. Will be interesting to see how they go this week.

Lakers V Sunba should be a cracker. Some good match ups with Carriss V Waymouth and Smith V Taylor and Chambers V McMahon. Lakers got them last time in the bog but this will be a different game at Sunba.

Agree Ballarat will be to good for East Point.

Well done to Lakers today - far to good. McMahon is a freak and was very good today. They could be on the way to their 1st flag.

Never say never - especially when it involves Redan. Traditionally the winner comes from the top three and it is a tough ask to win it from fourth but with three to come in and a dry deck who knows what may happen.
However there will be some heavy legs after the tough game against Darley on that gluepot Eastern Oval so it will all be about recovery and preparation. The Eastern needs a rest if it is going to have any chance to recover for the final. Northern Oval should have been used last weekend. And City Oval hasn't had any traffic for three weeks so that should be looked at as an option.
Full credit to Darley who refused to go away. The game wasnt won until time on in the last quarter.

They will have to be very good to win it - they have to beat Sunba at Sunba, Ballarat and Lakers - that would be a massive 3 weeks.

If Sunbury get their structures right i dont think any other team would be able to beat them, or even get within 5 goals. They played a terrible tactical/structural game, gave away a 5 goal lead in the first 5mins and still nearly won. Structure the side better, get players in the right roles, and no one will stop them.

Going to be a very interesting two matches this weekend, Sunbury v Redan will be a great last chance final, probably at home if Sunbury play decent footy they'll run away with it like last time they played.

Lakers v Ballarat will be interesting, they seem to have close contests and its definitely going to be a bog, the Lakers are in form though so i'd give them the edge, more even team across the ground, and a much better side if Battistello stays on the side lines and coaches.

Who are we all tipping for the flag?.. and for the Henderson in a couple of weekends time?...

are sunbury still in it if they lose this week ?

No the loser is out for 2010. The winner plays the loser of Lakers and Ballarat - which will be a cracker. 2 good teams that play different game styles. Ballarat like the Pies like to use the boundary line and Lakers like the Cats and use the corridor as much as possible. No result from this game will surprise!

on a dry deck sunba will beat redan by 10 goals...

if the young darley side got up on the weekend and played sunba next week, it would have been straight sets sunba
