Looked like his leg bent almost 90 degrees just below the knee. Sickening.

Actually reminded me a bit of the Jason Gillespie/Steve Waugh collision that happened back in 1999, which resulted in a broken leg for Dizzy.

I remember seeing the Nathan Brown injury happen live, and this was just as bad IMO. I've still got that weird anxious/sick/upset/sad feeling you get with these kind of things nearly 20 minutes later

I'm gutted for the bloke, he's been magnificent all season and along with Pods the story of the year.

I felt more dissapointed watching that than l have any players injury over the last few years.

Hope he makes a speedy recovery and comes back next year fitter and better than ever.

This is the worry. Brown was never the same after, neither was maguire. wierd place to brek it too. Ive seen couple relly bad ones when i played soccer but never seen one so high on the leg.

I'd say it was adrenaline.
When Jason Snell did his he tried to stand on it even though I could see his foot was hanging by a thread from the opposite wing

Can be but for the well being of a lengthy career probably not the best option imo.

Fremantle Doctor's have said that he has officially broken his leg. Ain't good at all.

Yes, but this break is a bad one. Also might have done some ligaments. When I first saw it, I though knee, but then after the replay could clearly see it was a broken leg.

Honest and passionate way he played the game appealed to everyone.

Biggest tragedy in recent years. Just shocking.

Was having such a good year to got out like that is pretty shocking.

Get the feeling he was either in shock or had some kind of nerve damage because I can't believe he tried to stand up after seeing it on the replay. Looked really painful

They replayed it on the big screens, crowley said he saw it a couple of times. Let's just hope je can come back quickly
