Yeah they are going to be a force when they grow up playing the game, for sure. Great athletes.

‘Just look at the NRL for an idea where this could go. The NRL is seeing more on more players with Pacific Island heritage come in and excel. They are bigger, faster and more athletic. They are now a considerable cohort across the competition

No, back in the 70’s Essendon had a player who wore glasses, Geoff Blethym, not sure of the spelling of the surname.

I reckon they’ll look at contacts once they get him here and settled. Goggles work okay for an indoor sport but problematic for an outdoor winter sport.

Very nice, sooner the better although i completely understand the difficulties in entering the country ATM.
Yeah. I'm not sure if he is here yet.. Havent heard. But he needs to be able to learn to play the game, given he has never played the sport before.

Was due to return to Australia in late May, would then presumably have to quarantine. So perhaps a chance to play some footy, (somewhere) around mid to late June.

The NFL is also a jerry to the pacific island power, best power atheltes on the planet, pitty they don't have physical makeup for our game.

Wonder if they could look at getting him extra games up in the NT over the off-season.
