Yep. Came out in December. It's a pretty good operation too. Great maps.
Played yesterday and the lag was out of this world. Brother signs on his account on the same console and not a problem.
Anyone able to connect to any online games? Haven’t been able all week which is frustrating.
Can never find a server straight away, takes 5-10 minutes every time

I think it's far better than BF4 personally. What's confusing about the timeline? None of the games are related story wise. This one is just set in WW1.
Yes, it is effectively BF5. However, just to **** with people, the next one will be set in WW2 and will be called Battlefield V or Battlefield 5 despite it actually being Battlefield 6.
It's confusing because it's called battlefield 1 when it should be called battlefield 5, given that it came out after battlefield 4.
BF4 felt like so much wasted potential to me. I ****ing HATED the campaign because of all the annoying cutscenes that can't be skipped. Felt more like an interactive movie sometimes than a game. I just wanted to get on with the action and I had to sit through boring cinematics. The campaign was also pretty short, with no incentive to play through it again. Titanfall 2's campaign was similarly short but it was so good that I played it through again on a harder difficulty setting.

Yeh, the naming wasn't great and as I said, it's going to be even worse on the next one!
I love the war feeling of it. B4 I didn't get into
Servers non existent. If it does happen to work you get booted pretty much instantly.

Yeah that's worth it. Servers are stuffing up at the moment going by twitter.
I still play every now and then but the game doesn't play anywhere near as nicely since the time to kill patch dropped.
Games have become SIGNIFICANTLY more unbalanced than in the past and it doesn't play how you'd expect a game set in world war 1 to feel anymore.
Majority of people now running around with ABSURDLY powerful smgs and the others lying prone with laser beam lmgs.
Still a great game with probably the best war like feel to it but they screwed around a bit too much with what made it stand out in the first place to me.

Picked up the game + premium for $24.95. only had the disk but this way can play with the missus. Hopefully she's not useless, pretty good at PUBG and Borderlands.

Downloaded a patch last night.... didn't do anything to fix the server issues. Still can't find a game in the Oceania servers.
Reckon the game is dead as they prepare to do the next title

Not in EU it isn't. Still pretty easy to get onto a server. They are stopping monthly updates in June though.
The game is pretty dead at the moment, which is a shame - it's my favourite online FPS. On XBOX there's usually 2 - 3 servers running that a pretty full
Have you tried Resetting your preferences on the Server Search? I was finding no servers, did this and a couple poppped up
Does turning tides have aussie offline campaign missions or is it all multiplayer based

Pretty much, kinda a shame because BF1 is still awesome online, still beats a lot of other games out there, the next BF is WW2 based isn’t it? Can’t wait for it if it’s anything like BF1.
