Congrats benwah, was highly entertainment. I enjoyed watching the show thoroughly and will be buying the dvd as soon as it comes out.
Don't watch the deleted scenes involving boydshow, some scary stuff happened on that island.

I did anticipate the Benny challenge so created one early, only to find starbums said it had to be a new one from the day he set it. So I had my second Benny introducing herself, causing them first to seemingly argue snd melt at her and then melt at me. I'll pop over to the Clueless thread and reveal all...

Someone thought they were going deep into the game. :p

If you had put it that way I probably would've let you run with it. The new Elias rule only exists so that flogs don't have an upper hand by using existing, successful Eliases. New ones are easier to track post/like counts and such too.

Yer I've got two now because of this.

FFS WHY DID YOU HAVE TO VOTE FOR THE BAD GUY?! Ehhh..... Thanks everyone. :D

Bad luck DapperJong . You would have been a completely deserving winner and you played a cracker of a game. Some of those videos.... The Dustin Martin/Jake Carlisle one still makes me crack up.

Thanks to everyone who participated - everyone put in a lot of effort, and sitting down to read the challenge entries was a blast. You all came up with some genuinely funny and clever stuff and it was definitely a highlight through a long, dry off-season. I may also have laughed out loud a couple of times reading challenge entries during my lunch break at work, and got some quizzical looks from workmates

It was also good to get to know a few of you a bit more behind the scenes via the PM web that was going on...

Sorry to anyone I backstabbed, misled, pissed off, or generally double-crossed. Hopefully you appreciate that it's nothing personal ;)

Again, thanks Starburns_ for taking the time to run this. Coming up with the challenges, tallying the votes, and generally keeping the whole thing running smoothly must have been incredibly time-consuming.

Ok, time for football again now. Pleeeeeeease. :drunk:

Also, on a final note because Boydogs sort of asked for it, the final total of votes (not including winner votes). Amount of times polled are in brackets:

Boydogs- 13 (5)
Chappy- 12 (3)
Royals- 9 (1)
Jose- 9 (4)
Toottoot- 9 (3)
Allikat- 7 (2)
Duritz- 7 (2)
Stronzo- 7 (3)
Dapper- 7 (2)
Morgs- 6 (1)
Beng- 6 (1)
Hazard- 6 (1)
Haduken- 5 (1)
Bosk- 5 (1)
K4E- 5 (2)
Cooksen- 4 (1)
Dinsdale- 3 (1)
Red Mist- 3 (2)
Benwah- 1 (1)

Thanks mate. I was more trying to work out who deviated from our alliance at times but Benwah's jury response covered most of that

That was too much fun. Nice one bennywah

So close Dapper. Bad luck mate

All good mate. I couldn't vote for you as my whole involvement in the game was about making sure our alliance won, and Dapper was clearly more true to that than you were. You were clearly the best player though so you deserve the win & no hard feelings

Tribal Council

Alright flogs, after 54 days, 16 #impunity challenges, and a whole lot of #tension between Morganashlee and @boydogs, we have arrived at the final Tribal Council of Bay 13 Survivor: Cockburn. All the flogs on the jury have voted, and we have a winner.

In voting order...

So we have a tie at 3 each, Duritz has the deciding vote...

Benwah: 4, Dapperjong: 3

And that is it floggos, Benwah adds to his MVP performance by winning Bay 13 Survivor: Cockburn!

He played the game impressively all the way through, dominating the individual #impunity challenges, as well as the alliance game. In fact, so dominant was he behind the scenes that prior to Dinsdale's desperation vote in the final 4, he hadn't polled a single vote at Tribal Council.

Thanks to everyone who participated and made this the best and most competitive Bay 13 Survivor since the original, thanks also to everyone who is still here following it, and once again congratulations to Benwah. :thumbsu:

And now for the reunion. :rainbow:

See you floggos next year. :drunk:

Am I the guy next to homer? I've never seen what eden hazard's face looks like before

Fantastic comp, really enjoyed reading the challenges. Congrats Benwah83 :rainbow: and DapperJong for taking it right to the end..and everyone else who made the top few.
Top notch work Starburns_ and LOVE seeing your old av back!

I had a lot of fun, learned how to merge gifs and jpegs, did some singing :) I was amazed to last until the final 4, enjoyed the tribal challenges, the elias challenge was a laugh. Thanks to Starbums for putting it all together and thanks to all for playing !!

I'd like to add, well ran ringworms, you did a super job, especially in light of the fact boydshow was annoying you the whole time.

Thanks for running it.

Awesome job running things Starburns_, I gotta say survivor was a hell of a lot more fun than I expected. Some very kooky challenges this year. :D

Well done Benwah83, despite not PMing you once during the competition that won't stop me from claiming I mentored the shit outta you and was probably the reason you walked away with the trophy. You can't underrate the influence of moral support and as the instigator of #teambenwah I was behind ya 100% of the way. (right after I got evicted in fact)

So go ahead and take a bow Benwah83 you magnificent bastard, you outlasted, outmaneuvered & outendured us, you all but outed yourself. :drunk:
Best of luck to the Dees in the upcoming season, **** you Essendon* and God Save the Queen.. Jack Watts!

What people probably don't realise is how close it was. The 4-4 vote was a crucial one. It was my lead with my alliance that suggested we vote fapper, bc we thought he'd cough up his idol to benwah. We knew one of them would and knew ted moist had the hidden one, but it was my misjudgement that cost us. I thought fapper would flip his, as it turned out they were less cunning than I gave them credit for.

We choose right in that vote then final four is Stronzo, TootToot!, Dinsdale and myself.

It's a game of inches!!! I really thought my 11 inches was enough, but apparently not.

Googling it for the pic was the first time I'd seen it too.

Couldn't use Fyfe on the pic because of Allikat and didn't want to use Jim Hird again. I've only had a handful of different avatars on here. :drunk:

This year was much better than expected. In all honesty, it's not that hard to throw out a few challenge ideas (it only took a few hours in the thinking chair to go from blank slate to mapped out game) that offer enough scope to use a range of ideas and skills to bring the lulz. It's the quality of the contributions that make it, and this year was an excellent field. :thumbsu:

Hindsight is 20/20 but you guys wasted the blindside move by voting out K4E. Benwah and Dapper were stronger in the challenges, and you could've created some division and distrust in that alliance with a 2-2 tribal split. K4E and RM say they were never with you after the merge, but they voted with you to oust Hazard, so they can't have been fully committed.

Yes, in hindsight you're right. If we'd gone benwah at that vote we'd have had the game.

Well I'd say your thinking chair or whatever you were smoking while in it definitely agrees with you. You're right, the entries were damn good across the board. Quite a few people went to a lot of trouble and there weren't really any weak contestants either. (no doubt Morganashlee will disagree!)

I had so much fun I forgot all about those vicious backstabbing ****s who voted me out & see no reason to keep the list of their names I scrawled in blood either!
Seriously, well done to everyone* involved you guys really went to a lot of trouble and we all loved reading your challenge entries. :):thumbsu:
*Except you ****ers who turncoated on me. YOU know who you are

If it's any consolation we were very close to doing what you thought we would. I think I may have even suggested it :drunk:

Actually, no. It's probably not any consolation...

Dude it's ok... I'm not that fussed about it. Had we won that one essentially what would've happened is Stronzo and I would've dictated the entire rest of the game. It would've been madness, an ongoing riot and a shitload of humour.

At the end, it wouldn't have mattered who won, stronzo and I only aimed to get to that point. We were closer than people realise.
