You're one to talk - superstar players with no heart?
Chris Lynn. Biggest sook in the world. Can't play 14 t 20s in six weeks it's too hard.
And Brendan McCallum talk about going A season too long.
Bash brothers? More like we like bashing each other off brothers while we gamble on horses.

Hit a nerve did I?

I’m not going to argue with Chris Lynn. This year he has been dreadful and looked to have buckled under the pressure and his deficiencies against spin flooded to the surface. Don’t think captaincy is for him and am interested to how he rebounds back from this. Injuries have completely ****ed his career.

Don’t understand the shot at Macca however. He is 38 next season and still made some half decent innings this season despite not being at his best and he put his body on the line like a 20 year old in the field time after time. The complete opposite of Lynn this season. Probably could have played again next season but probably knows the Heat probably require more from their international quota and decided to walk before he was pushed.

The real bash brothers were the 2 who chased down your mobs 150+ score in 10 overs. Considering at that stage your finals spot was still up in the air, the bowlers pathetic effort was the very definition of heartless where instead of trying to make a game of it when they were losing the plot and getting hit out of the park, they were happy just to keep trundling in not changing a thing and didn’t even remotely look interested in trying to take a wicket. Not to mention being 0/93 in a final chasing a paltry mid 140 with superstar caliber players such Stoinis, Handscomb and Maxwell in their batting line up. This team is the epitome of chucking it in when the going gets tough.

The Heat maybe shit but they probably perform around what they are capable of. The Stars however are just perennial chokers and underperformers and should be performing better with their line up. Bravo should be made captain because he sums up the state of that side to a tee. Renegades must be ****ing laughing they got rid of him.

The reason that you hit a nerve is that your view of the Melbourne Stars is based on what they were when they started not now.

When the bash started Melbourne and Sydney had a tougher job than the others to make a team because they are two team states not one,
Brisbane, Hobart, Perth and Adelaide have the luxury of being de facto "state teams".

Therefore the clubs had to try and differentiate themselves, which the stars did to try and be the "glamour side" with Eddie as Prez, Warnie, KP and others. Rightly or wrongly that's what they did.

You are happy to defend McCallum when he averaged 23 at a strike rate of 117.
Renshaw averaged 25 with a better strike rate and the way you guys treated him was terrible this year.
I take pot shots at Lynn and Macca because they are happy to call themselves the bash brothers and have their rididulous interviews and video packages, but you guys have found that you need more than all or nothing to get ahead as a team.
And Lynn sooking about playing 14 games shows where his head was at.

Good on Max Bryant and Cutting for their innings, it was just their night, nothing anyone could have done. In fact if Cutting were bowling his rubbish to himself that would have been a sight to see, to call us soft for that is a silly comment.

For you to say we underachieved this year shows a lack of understanding of our squad. I can safely say as long term stars supporter this was far and away our worst list ever and we snuck into a final which we lost.

Our grand final side has Dunk who is a shadow of his former self, Maddinson whos struggles arent his fault after being hit, Gotch who is there to measure the height of the stumps and Bravo who i agree was an awful awful signing.

The real issue is a diluted talent pool which both of our teams wore it on, we had no batters, apart from Mujeeb and the surprise packet Josh Lalor you had no bowlers.
