Whiteley has to be one of the most bewildering overseas BBL players ever. There's been some shockers but has there ever been another that couldn't even make the best XI? Arguably worse than Wildermuth who couldn't get a game himself.

Rarely flashy enough so doesn't get noticed by the casual observer or the nuffie that only watches the BBL for the light entertainment and doesn't care enough to mention it. Has been excellent batting in the middle order in 50 over cricket for Qld and Somerset over last 2 to 3 years, he will get a go in the Aus ODI middle order at some point between now and the lead up to the next 50 over World Cup.

Sam seems alright, Tom on the other hand gives off big silver spoon vibes. Had an altercation with some Somerset fans a few years back and called the Peasants. They were calling him "the shit Curran Brother" but if you can't have a bit of a laugh and get riled up about people saying a family member is better than you you're a bit weird.
