Pitches like this turn an already lower skilled affair into a real struggle and it doesn’t make for great viewing.

Bowlers missing their mark by a lot and the batters failing to take advantage of it.

Least with a better pitch the bowlers might have to tighten up a bit. And make for some more exciting cricket.

Lower score games are way more interesting to watch

When it’s between high quality players a lower scoring game can be good to watch.

That’s not the case with the current BBL. Watching high scoring games is about the only joy to be taken from the BBL these days and the pitches are taking that away.
