He would've been useful for the Tigers the other day, who lost by 2 runs on the last ball of the game.

Why release a player from your test squad to play red ball cricket when he can play this pretend shit?

Yeah it's all a conspiracy...

Except for the fact that they obviously felt that Inglis was more in need of red ball cricket given he hadn't played a red ball game in 6 weeks but Webster had a week earlier.

They needed a reserve in Adelaide in case a concussion happened. Logically, who would you keep? The guy who played red ball last week or the guy who hadn't in a month and a half?

No one suggested a conspiracy.

I would've thought the comparative benefit of playing a red ball game vs T20 cricket doesn't need explaining.

Being a concussion sub would be a friggen gross way to make a debut.

Yep. But it would have been gross for Inglis too.

Be realistic. They had to keep one there. Logically, it was better to keep Webster there. In this case, it's 6 of one, half dozen the other. You're only pissy because it affected your team badly last time even though you know it made sense.

Can't wait to kick the BBL off, always interesting early.

Backing the Scorchers at home as the safe pick, and though the Stars undoubtedly have the talent to win, you can never reliably trust them, whereas that Scorchers bowling attack is always pretty reliable.

Just pray we get a good match to kick off the season and not a one sided fizzer. 170+ both innings with an exciting chase would be a dream start.
