They've gotta move on from these two, it's the constant reliance on 2 perennial underperformers that have created this mess.

They're going to need 240 on this pitch with this bowling line up, and this power surge has cost them.

The worst bit was how entirely predictable it was. Even Warner called it

Including the angry mouthing off as he goes off the pitch. It’s nobody else’s fault you reckless twat.

Liked Warner calling out the poor decision making. I mean, most people call out his idiocy on a regular basis, but it’s good to hear a commentator do so.

If they somehow lose this game after bringing up the ton so early it’ll be an absolute disgrace. But also somewhat predictable because of the complete lack of professionalism and leadership at the club.

Murphy could be next in line for a Australian t20 Guernsey.

Based off one game? He’s had games where he’s barely bowled this year. Much prefer a leggie in t20 form, we’d have Short who bowls off spin anyway

We're not really that serious about this competition, are we?

We're an hour flight away from the MCG tonight. We've been batting today in the test. Flights back to Melbourne start at about 5.30am.

That's without factoring that a real professional competition overseas uses chartered planes or choppers.

I'm not arguing that playing a BBL game is overly beneficial, but I would suggest that if we're serious about this competition, holding Webster back in the test squad rather than playing cricket seems counter productive.
