Why are we still playing cricket at this ground?

It's always been a dogshit venue for crowds, especially if it's hot and/or humid, and especially if more than 40k turn up.

The pitch has always been two-paced rubbish, they've never figured out this drop in.

And when they've served up a field like this for the summer, it's very clear that the AFL don't give a rats ass whether cricket uses the stadium or not, and it kind of seems like they'd prefer to not have the hassle and just run a few more concerts over summer for bigger crowds, bigger gates and less maintenance.
