Thought Hardie might be out injured, so Mitch in for Hardie.

How much would Lyon have pocketed from his deal 2 yrs in for the Renegades?

We've got him for another year - it was 3-yr deal he signed

I'm hoping the deal was for minimum wage with match payments but that's unlikely

Might as well scratch Lyon from our squad list - wonder if we can sign a replacement player

Not sure there are too many spinners around, maybe Ejaaz Alavi? Captain of Fitzroy Doncaster in premier

We've got Harry Dixon in the squad - why not give the youngster a go

Playing for the Gades against Pakistan back in August he scored 13 but more importantly took 2/2

Harry Dixon isn't really a genuine spinner though.

it was a dumb signing in the first place.

Wonder if there was some pressure from CA for the test players to be signed to different Big Bash teams?

I think most, if not all have got a BBL team they're aligned to, but unless you're a batsmen you rarely get to play

probably. it's just a marketing ploy.

How does JFM keep opening for

Brown is out - so Harris will be replacing him at the top, and guessing they didn't want to make a double change

If Brown was available i would have dropped JFM down the order, or just dropped him

Will be interesting to see what happens next match
