If anyone is curious as to why the BBL isn't growing for casual fans - those 6 overs sums it up. You've got opening batters playing it like a test match.
As long as we get to see the lovely Erin Holland I am not complaining. Here comes the Ch7 cross promotion with Dr Chris Brown promoting his new show.
47 metres doesn't sound right to me.There is a 47 metre boundary at the GABBA where Josh Brown hit it.

Its what the commentator said. He mentioned that in AFL terms, the Brisbane Lions its a drop punt away.47 metres doesn't sound right to me.
That's only just over 2 pitches.
Are you sure about that?
That’s not the reason. Main reason is the lack of true stars. The internationals are hardly great and most of them aren’t here for the whole time
He is a useless bowler, rubbish fielder, his body language is poor most of the time.
Maxwell, Matt Short are ahead of him. Even borderliners: Hardie, Stoinis (as much as he is putrid most of the time) , Will Sutherland are better all round T20 cricketers than him.
Still doesn't sound right to me.Its what the commentator said. He mentioned that in AFL terms, the Brisbane Lions its a drop punt away.
I havent seen Ollie Davies bowl much. And he doesnt seem to get much of a bowling role at the Thunder. Ashton Agar batting has fallen off a cliff since his injury. Daniel Sams is the other one that can power hit at the back end.d maybe but you see th issue. We have very few genuine out and out finishers. Maybe they gamble on a Ollie Davies type but you can see why David is there
Still doesn't sound right to me.
I've never heard of a boundary that small.
Funded by who?Australia are tight arses, all the poor countries are paying the available stars more money

Ok, I've never heard of a boundary in Australia being under 50 metres.Few Indian grounds are under 50m
Ok, I've never heard of a boundary in Australia being under 50 metres.
Especially at this level.
Channel 7 showed a graphic of the boundary dimensions of the GABBA. Definitely showed the 47 metre boundary, and another side there was an 80-85 metre boundary.Ok, I've never heard of a boundary in Australia being under 50 metres.

Yeah, when the pitch is on the end of the squareChannel 7 showed a graphic of the boundary dimensions of the GABBA. Definitely showed the 47 metre boundary, and another side there was an 80-85 metre boundary.
