Is there a formula yet for how the Heat play finals? Or does it rely on the hurricanes losing?

I imagine if Heat beat Renegades by 45 runs etc. they would make finals with no help needed from Hurricanes.
If someone does the maths I am sure if Brisbane Heat make 200 and restrict Renegades to about 155 they go ahead on net run rate with same amount of wins ?

Conversely if Renegades bat first and make 155 maybe Heat have to try to win with about 4 overs to spare.

Whatever it is, that would be the type of thing Heat would aim for.

Is Mackenzie Harvey really playing ?
Been hanging out for this for last week if so, just to get a glimpse of him against men.

Doubt it. Webster was the last in but played well so should be retained.

Can't wait for this match.Renegades batting first.Heat need to improve there net run rate.Exspect B McCullum to tee off.

With 4th spot up for grabs and the Renegades guaranteed a finals berth, that should be motivation for the Heat to get over the line.
Renegades not guaranteed a finals berth yet.

We get smashed by Heat and our NRR can still drop below -0.291 and drop us to 5th.

Can anyone do the math on how quickly Heat would have to chase down the total for that to happen?

Recon Macquarie Radio and Channel10 will be all over the possible mathematical equations.

Now any win by the heat should be enough to finish 4th. Renegades have to hold 3rd if they want to go past the first final.
I disagree with this. Would rather play Perth in Perth - new stadium, therefore not a true 'home ground advantage', though they will have the crowd on their side.

Last time we played Scorchers we should have beaten them, whereas against Strikers we were never in it. So would actually prefer to finish 4th.
