Can someone talk margins to me... How many runs / wickets / balls remaining do the Stars require with a win tonight to finish top four? I know it's not that simple but I'm hoping someone can break it down for me...

Because the Stars need to win healthy, is it more likely they will choose to field first if they win the toss?

If the Hurricanes score 165, how many overs will the Stars have to chase that total down to make playoffs??

A non issue. If stars win they go through. If they lose, their net run rate goes down and as it is already lower than perths the stars are eliminated.

The equation for tonight is:

The Hurricanes win and the Scorchers finish 4th

Any other result - meaning no result or Stars win and it'll be the Stars that go through

Gades opened up a can of worms.
When they defeated the Heat.
Leaving 4 teams chasing that fourth spot.
Thanks for the fox news alert, Geraldo !!
