Nothing to lose there, paid off for them.

That's what their body language suggested - a couple of interested players, but after calling for the review they all went back to their fielding/bowling positions in prep for the next ball

They seemed as surprised as anyone that it was out

Ellis a chance for MOTM in a losing cause?

He has arguably been the best player tonight, top scorer with the bat for the Hurricanes and he has been their best bowler too.

Just a pity he has been playing with 10 other purple potatoes.

I was thinking about him the other day! Ross Whiteley was his name and I genuinely thought he was a bog average Brisbane grade cricketer at first.

Thunder have had the worst though!

I’d have the Kiwi atm, runs and a pretty good stint behind the stumps.

Has to be a bowler didn’t see much of the bowling till 8 down but who bowled the best out of the ones that got 3. 3 wickets is nearly worth 80+ normally

We didn't quite know how the pitch would play and what demons the Gades may have, it was then Seifert's hitting in the second over from Stanlake which put the match firmly in the Gades grasp

Not that most convincing chase apart from the one Stanlake over with 3 single figure scores. I guess it's a good thing in a way that they won without JFM or Brown going big but we need to see them chase a real total.
