He’s head of strategy or something along those lines. Wish I could listen through 7 and not Kayo, sadly Mark Waugh doesn’t seem as invested in the Thunder these days.

You know it streams on the 7 app now? That's how I watch it when the choice is Ponting vs Waugh.

I'm not sure you get credit for your sportsmanship when you question it, dawdle off, and wait for the umpires to review it.

What the hell is this? Did he walk or not?!

edit: and it's clear as a bell. Eat shit Warner, you immense flog.

It didn't take long for the hyperbole to come out in the pre-match build up.

"Biggest day in Tasmanian sport" they said.

Maybe - although in cricket alone I'd argue the 78-79 Gillette Cup final win against WA in front of a packed TCA ground in Hobart would be up there. That was an amazing day and an equally amazing win.

Unfortunately, research isn't a big thing in modern commentary.

Jack Simmons was worth his weight in gold for Tassie cricket.

I think the JackJumpers last season were probably bigger than both of them.

Although for the purists it was the first Shield win. (Pura Cup win  )
