I’m waiting on the Strikers squad release before finalising trades. If they’re out I think I go Clarke instead of Head/Carey. Should find out fairly soon.

I reckon the squad announcement should be enough for me to keep them. If they’re named, surely they play right?

Yeah I’m thinking that, if they don’t end up playing then I’d be happy to just flick them to Lynn. No point naming them if they’re resting though.

It would be nice to know their batting order too when Carey and Head return. Carey usually opens but he could bat further down the order while Head could bat anywhere from no.3 down to no.5 or no.6, he could even open as well. Lynn could also bat further down the order when they return.

I prefer to pick batsmen that open or bat no.3 or no.4 at the lowest, if they bat any further down the order there is a risk that they may not get a bat.

Webster should bat and bowl but isn’t very good at either. seems highly owned so is a safer pick.

I would guess Short, Carey, Head, Lynn, Hose, de Grandhomme

Wouldn’t be surprised if Shorts/CDG’s overs drop as Carey in is basically like having an extra player as Nielsen is a specialist keeper. So think there’s a chance the strikers play an extra bowler. Not sure how CDG bowls so much as it is anyway.

I'm thinking about trading in both, I was planning to trade in Head but now he's confirmed he's out for tomorrow I might trade in Webster instead.

I'm also looking at trading Hardie back in again as it looks like he will be batting at no.3 from now on and he might bowl some overs too.

Not as keen now on Webster now that Hinchliffe is in. Think I'll just go with Clarke from the Stars.
Head and Carey not playing makes things easier although from a Strikers supporter perspective I was keen for them to play.

I was so short of players I had to start Rogers, of course the spud fails again after making a good score in the last round when he was on my bench.

I also have Webster, expecting him to make it a hat trick of Stars spud scores.
